CARY, NC -- Fresh from lunch at Chick-Fil-A, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty said that officials' public objections to the Christian-owned fast food chain are "chilling."
"Now you have the police power of government intimidating and threatening people, being used to intimidate and threaten people, based on their free speech rights and their religious views," Pawlenty said Saturday of city officials' objections to president Dan Cathy's public disavowal of gay marriage. "I mean it’s chilling. I mean it’s stunning, it is jaw-dropping. And so I think strong people who see this need to stand up and say no we don’t do that in the United States."
Several elected officials, including the mayor of Boston, have said that they will discourage the opening of new Chick-Fil-A franchises. Pawlenty noted said that he had sampled Chick-Fil-A's products for lunch earlier Saturday. "It was awesome," he said of the chicken strips and waffle fries he ordered.

And that is EXACTLY our problem. To be surprised by the reaction of these mayors shows just how TOTALLY INEPT our highest-level politicians are, on our side.
If the mayors had said something like: “If Cathy every enters my city, he’ll be jailed on hate crime charges”, then yes, that would be jaw-dropping.
But blocking legitimate businesses has been a tactic of the left FOR DECADES and it’s time some grabbed “our leaders” by the sleeve and TOLD THEM THAT!!!!
How about conservative media calling the entire Obama agenda what it is: The War on Christians.
Let’s see how that resonates across the airwaves and on the internet.
If Christians don’t realize there is an active and orchestrated war on Christianity, they have not been paying attention!

Everything liberals do is based on their emotional beliefs of politics. I know liberals that will not eat at CFA because “they’re Christian”, as they say in total loathing.
And that is their right. If you don’t agree that a Christian has the right to express his or her view, who cares? However, it works both ways. Liberal perverts don’t seem to recognize that.
Don’t think business executives aren’t paying attention to this and will remember it when it comes time to decide where to move or expand.
Who would want to invest money in a place where the political class can turn on you for frivolous reasons and make your investment worthless?
I agree, Tim “Good N’ Paw-lenty” just wanting to still be in the running but Im have to say I was not impressed when he was running as a presidential hopeful. He seemed not much better than other RINOs like Hucklesby, McCain or Romeny.

Some liberal believer in free speech took it upon himself to remove my anti-Obama bumper sticker the other day. As I told my wife, that just gave me the OK to go get something really offensive like “prove you’re stupid, vote for Obama.”
