The amount of misinformation and disinformation on this one story says a lot about the ineptitude of the White House press corp.

One bust was sent back for renovation. The Brits sent another as a loaner to Bush. All art on loan during a Presidency is traditionally returned at the end of the term. The renovated bust was returned to the White House, the Bush loaner returned to the Brits.

This is a non-story that has reached cartoonish proportions. A few facts and details by an inquisitive press corp would have cleared this up years ago.
