The RCMP criminal intelligence assessment, focusing on Canadian waters, cites potential dangers from environmental activists to offshore oil platforms and hazardous marine shipments, representing perhaps the starkest assessment of such threats by the Canadian security community to date.
The report drew a sharp dismissal from Greenpeace a prominent environmental group singled out in the document

As the show went on it mentioned that the couple are both college professors. My wife caught the guy's name and goggled him up. It turns out he (and her) teach earth consciousness and sustainability. He travels the world giving lectures about environmental justice and putting forth the Agenda 21 philosophy that everyone should use mass transit and live in little urban boxes -- EXCEPT HIM OF COURSE!

Typical. Just yesterday I was reading about them preparing to remove a dam near Traverse City Michigan and it turns out that its to appease a miniscule segment of the population. (Kayakers and Trout unlimited)
Rather than spending the exact same amount to upgrade and retrofit the dam for power generation, they’re going to tear it out and forever destroy another potential energy source.
Yes, I know there’s a book about that called “Abundance.” I bought it a few months ago, but have not read it yet. I did get the aluminum example from a review of the book.
