A group of New York University (NYU) students are circulating a petition which accuses Chick-fil-A owners of “human rights violations” over their financial support for non-profit pro-family influence groups.
The document, which so far has attracted just over 15,000 of 20,000 hoped for signatures, also calls for administrators to use a loophole in school rules to expel the popular chicken sandwich store campus.
“NYU prides itself on being a diverse, open and inclusive campus community”, reads the petition, posted in March by student Hilary Dworkoski. “[M]aintaining a contract with an anti-gay vendor like Chick-fil-A undermines what makes this university so great.”

In particular, Dworkoski accused Chick-fil-A of harboring an “agenda against anyone," and complains that its owners donated at least $2 million to 2009 to support “anti-gay” groups including mainstream evangelical groups Focus On The Family and the Family Research Council.

The Left have made up two rights that have never existed in all of history - the right for men to ‘marry’ men, and the right for women to ‘marry’ women - for the purpose of attacking the family and for remaking society in their own image.

For a group that comprises about 2.5% of the population, the gays really make a lot of noise. It is unbelievably hypocritical, and typical, for these so called liberals to be so intolerant of other people’s right of free speech and to have their own beliefs on a topic. Unfortunately NYU isn't much different than universities located elsewhere around the U.S. They all seem dedicated to the same PC indoctrination methods. What continues to amaze me is that conservative parents still fork out huge annual sums to have their kids brainwashed at these "schools." Somehow "the folks" still haven't figured out what's happening.

Yep. And how many of them actually read the interview? probably ZERO. How many think Mr. Cathy does things he has not done such as refusing to hire or serve those who call themselves homosexual or lesbian — probably 100% because they are reading the radical gay activists who believe that if you don’t shed your own beliefs for theirs, you dare not exist.

It’s sad that gay supporters cannot respect the views of others when they expect everyone else to respect their views.
Mr. Cathy and Chickfila do not say they are ‘anti-gay’ as the media insists.
They simply support traditional values.
Dan Cathy was giving an honest answer to a question that he was asked about his personal beliefs; that Chick-fil-A supports traditional marriage.
He further stated that they treat every person with honor, dignity and respect – regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender-
and stated that their intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.
This Company has the same right to BE AGAINST gay marriage, as those who SUPPORT IT. The First Amendment of the Constitution overrides what gay marriage supporters may think or believe.
Those who champion the gay cause are just using this as a way to advance their agenda.
I have the utmost respect for someone who has the character to stand up for what he believes in and still treats EVERYONE with respect, which is what Chickfila does.
