How's this for a Romney Dream Team?

VP -- Allen West vs. Joe Biden
Sec/State -- John Bolton vs. Hillary Clinton
Sec/Energy -- Sarah Palin vs. Stephen Chu
Sec/Defense -- General Petraeus vs. Leon Panetta
AG -- Pam Bondi vs. Eric Holder
Sec/Treasury -- Michele Bachmann vs. Tim Geithner
Fed Chairman -- Ron Paul vs. Ben Bernanke
Sec/Interior -- Bobby Jindal vs. Ken Salazar
And last but not least --
DHS -- Sheriff Joe Arpaio vs. Janet Napolitano

I like all those choices except Petraeus. He’s already tainted for having accepted a post within this stench of a regime.

I’d recommend Duncan Hunter Sr. for SecDef.

Actually, Paul Ryan might be a better choice for Secretary of the Treasury, and Ken Cuccinelli for AG.

Actually, I’d like to see that position revert to
its original title; Secretary of War.

Can’t really be a dream team with Romney on board.

Love this line up.
Only one I question is Petraeus...
As much as I like him on a personal level, he’s too cozy with Obummer...
Reminds me of Cohen with Clinton.

Really? He is tied for second with a 95 from Heritage on his voting record (with Rand Paul and Ron Johnson) and a 100 from ACU.

Exactly. And that applies to any other of the really effective elected congress people. The Vice President has a role that is determined by the President and because I like a particular aspect of many of the VP aspirants does not mean they would be helpful to the goals of the President they would serve with. Also, it seems to me that given the closness, supposedly, of this race, the electoral college aspect of winning in Nov is all important. Romney is goal oriented and he needs a VP candidate who can help him achieve those goals as well as add to the possible winning of the electoral votes needed. I still favor a more flamboyant VP like Chris Christy to generate the excitement and energy that translates into a very interesting and winning campaign. Not knowing all of the pros and cons of Christy or any other preference I have leaves me trusting the selection entirely to the Romney teams judgement.

This will be exactly like what happened with the Bush crowd...More leftist liberal policies, spending like a drunken lotto winner, open borders, amnesty with a new name, costly country killing foreign polices etc.

Then some here will start a new Romney, "Day in the life of" thread, where they can post pretty pics and comment about the first couples attire... gak

There are certainly ‘some’ very capable people on your list, but I don’t see where it’s possible to form a “dream team” with Romney at the helm.

For there to be ANY dream of any kind, Obama must be removed from office and unfortunatly, I don’t put much stock in that happening.

Trust me, in the worst way I want to see things differently, but unlike some of you, I don’t seem to be able to get there. It just seems that it’s not within me to get past the knowledge that we have a GOP-e RINO that has been shoved down our throats.

Please know that I do not mean any disrespect for those that have ‘now’ gotten behind Romney... he is now seen as the only option.

In only 98 more days, each of us have a decision to make, I wish you all good luck with that and I hope you will all be able to live with the results of your convictions..... As for me, I truly ‘do not know’ what I will do.

I know Obama simply MUST go. I see him as an enemy of everything our country was founded on and quite frankly, I hate his guts - as well as every other air breathing democrat....but I remain lost.

Good luck in shoving those square pegs into the round holes.

Sorry for the rambling.... perhaps my coffee is too strong this morning.

We are so damn screwed.
