Yeah - “don’t point a weapon at anything you don’t want to shoot” seems to be such reasonable advice. But then, prosecutors (especially federal prosecutors) are often both arrogant and ignorant of things like firearms.
As the son of a USMC lifer, it has been drilled into my DNA that you do not ever for any reason point a weapon at someone unless you are prepared to shoot them.
Even watching old episodes of “The Rifleman,” one of my favorite old shows, I want to holler at Chuck Connors that he shouldn’t go swinging his rifle barrel around past people like he does.
Whoever did this should be taken behind the woodshed and taught some manners.
