CNN) President Barack Obama made a $5,000 donation to his campaign Monday night, the first contribution the president has made to his re-election effort.
In an email to supporters, Obama wrote that his donation "won't be enough to surmount the unprecedented fundraising we've seen on the other side, both from our opponent's campaign and from the outside groups and special interests supporting him."
An Obama campaign aide said the donation was made online in New York City, where Obama attended a fund-raiser Monday.

One he jacked from some person on the street.
I clicked on this expecting to find that he made a $3 donation to himself.
“...the unprecedented fundraising...”
This ahole thinks that phrase lends import to everything he says and since everything he says he thinks is important, he begins everything with it. I think it is an unprecedented excess use of the phrase by a POtuS.
You can't say it was unexpected...
“You can’t say it was unexpected...”
True. It was unprecedented, however.
“President Barack Obama made a $5,000 donation to his campaign Monday night, the first contribution the president has made to his re-election effort.”
How courageous is that?
Since Obama's so greedy, yet encourages others to donate their wedding and birthday gifts to his campaign, this $5,000 donation of his must be an advance birthday gift to himself.
That’s about like me giving a dollar.

and it owusdl be nice if it was the ONLY donation he recieves- but unfortunately lots of peopel love being abused by their dear leader and liek having our constitution violated re[peatedly and like the dear leader attaqckign the supreme court, and liek the dear leader attacking Christianity, and so they will vote him back into office- and the worse thigns contin ue to get, the more they’ll deny the OBVIOUS cause and simpyl will just keep blaming PRESIDENT Bush

Not very- He simply demanded the $5000 be returned to him after it was recorded and everyoen saw what a ‘generous donator’ he is
Can’t Hussein just spend a trillion and then make someone else pay for it?
