I am starting to believe that bankruptcy of the Federal Gov’t might not be such a bad thing - at least while we still have some shred of Federalism and local Gov’t remaining that can pick up the pieces.

only these ‘inmates’ would just bribe guards to sneak in drugs for them then blame the warden for lax security.
I’d rather America isn’t bankrupt, but the government is bankrupt.
Unfortunately the Feds going bankrupt is meaningless. We as citizens will go bankrupt. The Feds will just keep printing money to win elections and will will go bankrupt through inflation.
