Gunmen shot dead a well-known comedian known for poking fun at Al-Qaeda linked Shebab insurgents in the Somali capital Mogadishu, officials and colleagues said Wednesday.
Abdi Jeylani Malaq Marshale, in his late thirties or early forties, was killed late Tuesday, minutes after leaving Kulmiye radio station, where he worked as drama producer and performer.
"Two men shot and seriously injured Marshale... the comedian was later pronounced dead," said police lieutenant Mohamed Gaal, adding that "unfortunately the assailants escaped."
The same thing would happen to an American (or British) comedian who mocked and defamed Islam (and Lord knows Islamists need a lot of mocking and defaming). Comedians in the West can only mock and defame Christianity with impunity.
Michael Moore calls insurgents “freedom fighters”. Has he ever announced a change in position on that?
The only change of position he makes is when he gets off the toilet to go to the kitchen.

Making fun of murderous, subhuman muzzie filth in their own backyard was not a good career move. Abdi now knows that.

How many self-important US comedians do you hear darkly claim that the evil conservative government is out to censor them or that those evil Christian conservatives are out to get them? The claims are laughable but many of them convince themselves that they are some types of martyrs to freedom. Well, take a look at this guy. This is a true martyr to freedom. US comedians should be ashamed of themselves.
He can’t change his position on anything. It would take too much energy..............

The problem with this is that it is impossible to tell whether he was shot for insulting Islam or if it was an act of artistic criticism and he was shot for being an unfunny comedian.
Take my wife for example, please take my wife!
He should watch his back.
