A picture says a thousand words. Today was a major victory for First Amendment rights and for traditional marriage -
and a setback for the rainbow agenda.
It’s AMAZING how G is using a chicken sandwitch...........
It’s AMAZING how God is using a chicken sandwitch...........
Beautiful site, just beautiful to see.
Restores my faith in this Country!
I felt the same! :-)
Oops, site = sight (blush)
Durn it. Kinda got a little choked up on those pictures. Unfortunately for us the closest one is across the border in liberal land in Roseville Ca. I’d hate to eat and then be sick to my stomach being that close to sanfrannan.
Helping keep mankind warm for 65 years.
The crowd to get into my neighborhood Chick-fil-A was so enormous, law enforcement was directing traffic and a news helicopter was hovering overhead. I couldn’t get near the place, it was like a traffic jam into a Nascar race.
Me too! I actually have tears in my eyes, tears of joy..so wonderful to see this great franchise being supported. Makes me have faith that in November we are going to take this country back from the Commies
Yeah, well, loaves and fishes had already been done...
And no sign of the pud puffers?
Hopefully the MSm is stunned, just stunned. Where’s the gay counter protest???? Should be thousands of them there too, right? Right? RIGHT????
look at them! bitterly clinging to chicken sandwiches...
Back in the closet, pipesmokers!
The “news” media know this too well. A CBS Atlanta film crew already gave it away. A posted YouTube video shows them saying they would not film the Appreciation Day - they thought it was a protest. You know what this means - the “news” media will be out in force to record and broadcast the homos protest. We’ll need people out front of CFA’s with signs protesting the homos and supporting CFA.
North Texas - CFA clogged with white, black, asian, latino customers - the ~worst ~nightmare for the liberal media, who try to divide Americans at every turn!!!
They just don’t get it...
That is great. However, I want to know if these are commie states or conservative.
I’m in a commie state. We were going to go to CFA today anyway, because it’s across from my husband’s work where we had Family Day today.
When I passed it mid-afternoon there was a good crowd, although I don’t know if that’s normal at 3. When we tried to go just after 5, it was very crowded, parking lot and inside. My husband didn’t want to brave it (we have a 4yo who had no nap, to boot), so we left. He seemed to think it was a bit more chaotic than it normally would be. Of course, we also think part of it is his Family Day. The only off-setting thing is that it’s a Wednesday and not on the weekend. So I’m 50-50 that it was more crowded because of Appreciation Day. (We definitely did not have people standing outside.)
I wish I’d stopped by the 1 close to us to check - forgot (can’t see from highway). The thing is, at mealtimes CFA is ALWAYS crowded, maybe a bit less on weekdays.
OMG - my husband just said when we were leaving CFA (we had 2 cars) that someone was standing on his car with some sign across the street from CFA. Wish I had noticed. You know it had to be a homo-commie-supporter.
ha, no worries! :-) been a long day.
I’m getting the feeling the gays are scared by this. I am even wondering if they are going to turn out for their Chick-Fil-A Same Sex Kiss-In Friday Aug 3 8 pm EST. ;-)
My daughter said the one nearest her home in Orange County ran out of food!
It sure is. Just marvelous to see.
I can well imagine!
Amazing. Today was truly historic. Better than our best hopes.
NBC News was featuring three or four under the rainbow banner. That was pretty well offset by the pictures of full and overflowing Chic-Fil-A's.
It all seems like a good sign to me. I am impressed.
“That is great. However, I want to know if these are commie states or conservative.”
If you go to the link, I believe some of the pics are captioned as to location. But from all of the news reports I have seen, this was NATIONAL: The blue state of Massachusetts, and places like PA - everywhere from TX to CA to VA to NY. It was NATIONAL. and historic.
It will be fun to see how the national MSM spin this one. Shep Smith bleated about a “Day of Intolerance” as if shutting down Mr. Cathy’s free speech was an example of tolerance. Another thread quoted a pair of protestors declaiming, heaven help us, against “biscuits of hate”. You can’t make this stuff up.
Wow-—well there was even a bomb threat at one CFA today.
It occurred to me this could be like the lunch-counter sit-ins of the ‘50s - but not in the way the f-a-g-s (I’m mad and sick of always being nice and polite) want everyone to think.
I went to the CfA in the Burlington Mall in Mass., and was thrilled to see the line going all the way around the food court, back to the escalators, and around in a circle there. It had to be about 300 yards long by the time I was done. And you never saw such a bunch of people so very happy to be waiting in such a long line. Pleasant and courteous, and the food and service were excellent. The two bull dykes in the “end homophobia” shirts looked pretty forlorn. I suggested to everybody there that they mail their SfA bags to Mayor Menissolini.
Good point - It really did come off that way.
I had hoped it would be good, and my worst fears were that people might get lazy and just not bother. Then the rainbow agenda crowd would have gloated -—ugh!
But this turnout was ENORMOUS and national. It really does hearken back to the civil rights era, and I am proud of my fellow Americans as I am sure you are too for not being complacent and for caring enough to get out there and stand in long lines. We can look back on this day and say, “Well done!”
I’m waiting for it. I bet the MSM will focus in on maybe one or two couples and try to claim it’s a crowd of people doing it. But then too, I bet lots of customers will show up and rally around CFla ...
Wow-thanks for posting those hamboy!
Yeah - I think so. And it sure will be interesting to see what actually goes on, after they have been hyping the Kiss-In up to press and all over Facebook and Twitter.
Another thing: Their numbers in the general population are so low (2-4 % max).....
“...not one person of color is in any of the pictures...”
Take a closer look.
Today I went to a CFA in the Atlanta area. Half the customers were black.
Here’s a video of a black pastor speaking out against Obama’s support of gay marriage. Rush mentioned this pastor today.
“Odd that not one person of color is in any of the pictures.”
Another reason I suspect it’s mostly “red state” areas.
Dirty little secret, though, is that blacks don’t like homos. I mean, really don’t (never mind the Moslems). Only recently (post-Uhbama) have they started to toe the line as if they’re all for tolerance for them.
Liberalism makes strange bedfellows. (Oops!)
“Their numbers in the general population are so low”
Yes, but liberals are 50/50, and since they insist they’re all for “tolerance”, you’ll have that to fight. They might not kiss, but they’ll be there with the homos.
You know the media are working overtime as to how to portray the homo's "protest" to make it look bigger than it is. We'll need people on the ground in CFA's taking pics and posting them and sending them to FNC and Rush so they can get the real word out on the puffer's "protest".
Just watched Shep Smith on FOX to see if he mentioned the story, not a word. But that is what I expected. Will watch the Bill 0’Reilly later, I have to record him so I can fast forward, makes his show about 10 minutes long, that way.
Well, I hate to say it but I think you’re right on this. Yes, we will.
Ate there for supper (take out). Good crowd. Everyone having a good time. Met an old friend, that I had not seen in well over a year. Parking lot crammed. Had to park next door.
Yes, I am sure they will “puff” up [pun intended] the kiss-in to make it look like a huge victory. Yes, we sure will have to....
Thanks for the link to that footage, Atlantan. Obama really did himself in; I don’t see any way out of this mess for him at this juncture.
The SF Fox affiliate KTVU showed a crowded Dallas TX CfA, then had live coverage from the “local” Fairfield store.
The audio story was that the Fairfield store had to close early despite ordering extra supplies because they simply ran out of food!
The visual was a few shots of the crowded store earlier in the day, and 90% of the time live in a near empty store with an as-an-aside mention that they were closing as soon as these few customers were done.
Normally the store would be open another 5 hours.
Then they cut to the handful of protesters at the not yet open San Jose store.
No bias here, no sirie!
