We were at the Chick Fil-A at the Paramus Park Mall in Paramus, NJ. The first time I ate at this place since the mall opened in 1974, and it was pretty darned good. I highly recommend the peach shake. What's noteworthy is this particular Chick fil-A is one of the few remaining original teneants at this mall. No media coverage, other than the local cable news. Considering how heavily democrat Bergen Cty is they had quite a turnout and everyone seemed in good spirits. And the crowd was quite a bit more, (I HATE this word) diverse than a typical environmentalist rally or OWS protest.
My wife and I and our 2 kids went to the CFA in Menlo Park, New Jersey yesterday right around 5:00 pm. It was busy but, at the time we were there, not as busy as others I’ve seen posted. Food was great and explained to my kids why we were there. I fiugred it’s about time they start learning about the gay lifestyle since they will be exposed to it via the media.
Jahn’s! I went to the one on Rt. 4 after many Friday night dates. The Fireplace was another good place to go after a movie or basketball game. I’ve heard it is still there - are those burgers still as good? I remember The Acropolis, too - tasty!
I remember the Fireplace. The local chapter of the Cadillac-LaSalle club held their meetings there. They used to help put on the big car shows at Ramapo College yrs ago. Unfortunately the building’s still there but the Fireplace is gone
Ohhhh, sad news about the Fireplace. There goes another little slice of growing up in Paramus. But thanks for the information, Impala!
glad you were able to go and posted your report, my friend went to the paramus location and had to wait 1.5 hours to get his food, did you have to wait as long? I tried to go to one in south jersey and couldn’t get near the place.
We were there about 2:30PM, the line wasn’t as long but we waited a good 45 min. And I understand their still doing a brisk business.
I’m glad business picked up, one reason, nobody knew they were there, like me.
