Skip to comments.Black Americans Supporting Chick-Fil-A? [Significant Numbers in Florida!]

Just an observation, asking for opinions and other observations here. We went to a South Florida Chick-Fil-A, one that is in a "white" area, but still fairly diverse ethnically because of a nearby college...the town of Davie.
Saw a significant number of African American customers supporting Chick-Fil-A...I wonder if the rumors about Obamugabe's celebration of sodomy is *really* cutting into his "base".
At the CFA where I was yesterday there were several blacks there and a couple of Hispanics, although not as many as I would normally see at this CFA.
The other interesting demographic I saw yesterday at CFA was a lot of young adults (high school and college/20 somethings) there some in groups of 2-3 while others were with their families.
Years ago black people loved CFA. However, since many blacks are also Democrats and liberal, they are now told to hate CFA and so they do. I worked with a black guy that loved CFA but refused to eat there due to his social/political crowd that told him not to. Talk about mind-numbed robots.
The libs are clearly worried. Here’s one example from one of their little activist newsletters;
2 Inspirational Gay Rights Videos on Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day
Oh, and another bit of general bellyaching, this one directed at Steve King:
GOP Rep. Steve King Defends Dog Fighting
“These two groups view gay men as being not men”
They are correct. They are biological mistakes in the gender ontology of human beings.
But in the world of Leftist Luddites, up is down, black is white, cold is hot, etc.
In fort worth I saw quite a few blacks and Hispanics. Also saw rich and poor and in between.
Same here; I went to the Monroeville CFA and saw a very mixed crowd. Old and young, white and black. Some of the black folks were wearing T shirts that said “Keep God In This City”.
I was at Monroeville, too!!! From about 6:30 pm until 7:30. I agree - nice mix of ages & races. What I found particularly inspiring though we’re the 20 somethings who were there alone & stuck around for an hour waiting to be served. This young people, in my opinion, have principle.
I wish I’d seen more black folks when I stopped by. I only saw an older black man with a couple of young black guys, and a student with a Liberty University shirt.
However, after going to Chick Fil-A, I stopped by Sally Beauty and chatted with an acquaintance about the experience. I was at the counter, paying for my items, and the two black employees broke into the conversation. They said “people like me” would always eat at Chick Fil-A, that they didn’t like to judge people, and the Chick Fil-A CEO should have kept his mouth shut. So I guess some of Obama’s base will follow him into moral oblivion.
So what did Owens say, and who is he? :) I am out of the loop.
Too cool! I was there from 12:15 until a little before 1:00. The staff did a great job keeping things moving. I spoke with a very nice 70 year old woman in line behind me for a while, and told her that it was the same kind of atmosphere at TEA party rallies. She told me that she never attended one because they might be a bunch of radicals. I hope I eased her mind on that. NO ONE was there just because they wanted a chicken sandwich!
