Same sex couples are staging a "kiss in" Friday at various Chick-Fil-A restaurants. If you think this is to demonstrate a widespread level of support for gay marriage, you're wrong.
The purpose is to bait someone on the right into doing something stupid.
The left would like nothing more than to capture on camera someone:

It's all in the intent. A stranger can be innocently touched, and it can be safely assumed to be an innocuous gesture when both parties are reasonable and context-aware. The exact same touch can be assault when it is reasonable understood to be unwanted and the intent of the assaulter was to inflict discomfort, embarrassment or any other malevolent purpose.
These "kiss-ins" are the extreme perversion of the purpose of a kiss, to express love and affection to the close one you love. To turn this good gesture into a political statement is pernicious to the extreme. And to aim the display of it at others as an act of harassment can be considered a crime - "disorderly conduct" in Texas.
Would it be out of line to offer them the "fruit cup" instead?

What about getting a judges’ flip-card set and rating the kisses based on technique and personal appearance? Even better yet, doing so while wearing a Bill or Hillary Clinton mask?

Why should we stoop to their level?
There might be a few places that's true but the city had better be prepared for a huge slew of civil rights lawsuits. I'm sure slimy lawyers are salivating as we speak.

IGNORE THEM. If they start kissing, simply turn away.

Okay, I’m from Texas. I don’t think our cops “cotten” to homos, so maybe they will use disorderly conduct and arrest these homos if they are engaging in that behavior.
I also think about our extensive number of “Bubba’s” in this state and hope they will hold their temper in if they see this disgusting homo display. In a confrontation, the Bubba’s would pound them in the ground fast.

Absolutely. I used to go to a Sushi restaurant across from the university while waiting for my daughter. The students could be a bit noisy, but the most disruptive time was when an obviously gay man came in one day. He kept getting up from his table, talking loudly and swishing off for something- bathroom, napkin, salt shaker, etc. He might as well have pranced around yelling “look at me.” Fast lunch that day!
