After all the shouting, tweeting and protesting is over, the fried-chicken empire of Chick-fil-A will be just fine. Sales at the company, which recently leapt into the debate over gay marriage, may even get a lift in the near term.

The liberal, globalist corporate CEO’s have been sticking their fingers in the American middle class’ eyes with their radical social and political agenda.

It’s true that elitist liberals will all gang up against the moral guy in American business, but it might turn out the limo-liberals get their hats handed to them as they have in the past. They should not be involved in unpopular, fringe causes like promoting gay marriage, sluthood and gay sex. They are even sexualizing children.

As odd as it sounds to this limo liberal at the WSJ to hear a business man speak about God’s moral authority, it is even wierder to see coproate CEO’s promoting anal and child sex around the globe. It’s abusive, filthy and unhealthy behavior and mentalities.

it is “arrogant” and “inviting God’s judgment” for supporting something controversial, such as gay marriage.

Mr Cathy did nothing of the kind. This crap is coming from the WSJ? I don’t know how their franchises do businesswise elsewhere, but around here they are packed every day of the week. They have a very good product and that drives their customer base

Little has changed. L.A. doesn’t need NFL football, and good chicken joints don’t need big eastern cities.

Best observation I’ve seen today

“Chick will see a large surge in consumers in the short term, and a small surge in the long term.”

CFA just got vaulted into the big time. The family has always been wise about expansion, don’t over do it. No foreign franchises for instance. They will do well as people who never ate there sample their product.

The queer kiss in is Friday the third. I’ll be going there to buy, because the queers won’t be. I’ll have some fun if there are any freaks there. Nothing hateful, but fun

If it’s anything like here, the long wait will be common. The place is always busy. It is good food

I couldn’t get in on Wednesday, I’ll try again tomorrow. The queers won’t be buying anything. I’ll taunt them with my purchase of some really good food as they swelter in this heat

LA may be getting it’s second NFL team from Cleveland in the near future. Haslam isn’t foolish enough to leave it in that dump

And if chick fil a is smart they will have one of their associates take free food and cold drinks out to the kiss in folks. That will “heap burning coals” on their heads and b a great Christian witness. We are told to pray for and treat kindly those that persecute us. Plus the idiots won’t know what to do

Sales at the company, which recently leapt into the debate over gay marriage,....

Uh, they were pushed into the debate. The MSM were the instigators in this.
The MSM pulled Cathy's comments from a Christian publication the vast majority would have never seen.
In that respect the MSM got the results they were looking for, controversy, News.
It was the gays that decided on having a 'kiss in' before the Appreciation day was thought of.

Chick-fil-A, at a minimum, is a business that has misjudged its bigger audience.

Yeah, they should have taken a page from the Penneys model. /s

CFA was a distraction managed by the captured media for advantage in the campaign.

Good point. It’s not as if Chick Fill A had announced some big campaign against gays, or anything like that.

This happened because the liberals picked this fight. Chick Fill A has been known to be run by devout Christians for years. The liberals thought that they could go into their mock outrage routine, get boycotts going, and damage and destroy this company. The goal was to damage this company, and intimidate any other company whose officials have the audacity to think that marriage is a man and a woman, and who would have the gall to say to publicly.

I think that the CFA controversy was an attempt to distract people from Obama’s economic failure. But it blew up in their faces as it turned into a very big project for Tea Partiers, conservatives and Christians.

I think that it was a gigantic error for the left to take on this fine company. It has produced a level of solidairty in the right that has always been difficult to generate. Call it a team-building exercise for conservatives. A huge error.

As far as market share in the Northeast and Northwest, I suspect that the demand is not what it should be due to culinary differences. A good measure of this is the flap last year over UCLA serving fried chicken and waffles for MLK’s birthday. Lots of calls of racism from the beltway crowd. In the South our reaction was “Wow, that would be a great meal! I am going to make some”. The South runs on fried chicken.

Try this: Southern fried chicken, home made waffles served with bluberry, cherry or strawberry pie filling. Ice cold milk.

Unbelievable.
