Another skewed poll (D+10) by the Economist / YouGuv, but this one shows Obama LOSING.

Barack Obama 44%
Mitt Romney 46%

D - 37%
R - 27%
I (and leaners) - 36%

TOPICS: Extended News; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: economist; poll; romney; youguv
Need to look at page 6 to see the results (Romney 46 - Obama 44).

Page 13 lists the partisan breakdown.

Further evidence of how ridiculous the Pew Poll from a couple of days ago was.

If this poll is accurate, Obama is in a world of hurt.

Many of these pollsters are not even in Reality Stadium anymore. They’re downtown at the Fantasy Bar.

Is it just TOO HARD to have a sampling where one party isn’t asked more than the other?

Ugly to the bone. If you could find one under all that adipose tissue...

This one proves a trend that I have been seeing amongst Democrats that I know. They are just as against him as anyone else is.

If Obama ran a PERFECT campaign, he can get no more than 42-43% on election day, and reality is his campaign is as amateurish as his presidency has been, he’ll be lucky to see 40% on election day.

Fight like its a 50-50 race, but the idea this is going to be a close election is comical.

It's RV, not LV; and the MoE is +/-4.5% because they got to 1,000 and stopped, which is a little unorthodox but probably for cost considerations. And which also means they forced the oversampling.

This one is interesting:

11. Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as President?

I’m in the NY Metro area and have noticed quite a number of Obama ads during the Olympic coverage on our local NBC affiliate. If he is buying air time in the NY/NJ/CT area, his internal polling must be very disconcerting!

This poll is so skewed as to be laughable. It over samples Dems by 10%, and Romney still wins. Also another factor is voter intensity. The Republicans can not wait to vote. The same can not be said of the Dems.

20% of Dems are openly admimitting they plan to vote for Romney in more than one poll, Obama is gone folks. The idea this thing is close is laughable.

By October the real discussion will be whether or not the Republicans will get 60 Senate seats. Only the biggest kool aid drinkers will be arguing that Obama has any chance of winning.

Fight like its 50-50 but don’t buy into this thing is close folks, its not.

Your post just brought a smile to my face. :-) But we still need to fight hard and put this clown away and devastate the Rat party. We need to teach these domestic enemies a hard lesson and then govern this nation with justice and integrity.

Yes, in a fair election that would be true. But that is not going to happen. We can expect that the amount of voter fraud this time around is going to be massive. Then combine that with all the Freepers and like minded individuals who think Romney is the Great Satan while Obama is only the Little Satan and who refuse to vote for Romney I think it is going to be a close election.

Don't let them fool ya. They don't want their retirement funds crashing either. Everyone should be worried for their childrens' futures. If we don't start growing this economy soon, EVERYONE is in trouble. Baby boomers are the primary earners and the primary taxpayers in this country. When we start aging out of the work force and retiring, who is going to carry the load? Our kids with their low paying or no paying jobs? Who is going to pay for obamacare? Are the rich supposed to pay for it all? It's ridiculous on its face. This class warfare argument is a non-winner for obama.

Oprah is deeply saddened...

Seriously speaking...although it's highly unlikely that she's in fear of homelessness Oprah cannot be doing nearly as well today as she was 40 months ago.Her "network" is going down in flames. I'm gonna check "newsmeat.com" (for God's sake,be careful when you enter that address.Accidentally drop one letter and you get a pervert porn site!) to see what,if any, political donations she's made in the last few years...including in the last few months.
