The famous Teleprompter of the United States made a triumphant return to the campaign of President Barack Obama.
The experiment to wean Obama off the machine failed in spectacular fashion when, without the benefit of a prepared script, the president uttered his now famous "You didn't build that" comment. Even after the damaging gaffe, the Obama campaign insisted that the teleprompter would rarely be used.
Until yesterday:
President Obama spoke to supporters in Florida this afternoon, but was careful to stick to his script, relying heavily on his teleprompters.
The president campaigned without teleprompters last month, when he made his controversial "you didn't build that" remark about business owners.
A campaign aide insisted last week that Obama's slip up wouldn't change the campaign's teleprompter strategy.
"The attempts by the Romney campaign to make this into their rallying cry haven't changed anything," said a senior campaign official to the Hill, adding that Obama "has done events without a teleprompter since then."

‘You didn’t build that’ and similar recent gaffes ...
Good to see TOTUS return. I wondered what had happened to it.
Obama off-script and off-TOTUS is turning out to be worse than Biden and his gaffes.
He won’t have to worry about that issue after November.
Levels of stupid:
Stupid
Unbelievably stupid
Liberal-level Stupid
and finally
Obamadork stupid
His advisors know that Obama is an arrogant moron.
Obama won’t have TOTUS to prop him up in the debates .... I think the last month has been an effort to begin weaning him off his ‘binky’ .... with disastrous results. When you need TOTUS to speak to elementary school kids, that’s pretty weak. Obama is not good speaking off-the-cuff and he’s not the orator the media has made him out to be. I think the debates will be problematic for him.
I’d like to see protesters at his appearances shouting “YOU DIDN’T BUILD THAT” every time he tries to take credit for something.
I don’t watch any news channels, but will definitely be watching the Presidential debates. He won’t have the use of his teleprompters, and he can’t help himself when he’s off-script. All Romney has to do is stir Obama up with his answers, and Obama will act like the cry baby he is. Remember his “I’ve got a bracelet too” remark during the debate with McCain? He had to look at the bracelet to recall the soldier’s name. I look forward to more embarrassing comments from Obama in the future.
I think the Dems will find a way to feed him his lines, and I'm sure the debate hosts will go along, seeing as how they are always the left-wing media.
WE should start a push to ban all media people from the debates as moderators. The media can broadcast them, but have someone other than media personalities moderating them. Choose former governors, congress-critters, diplomats (no one in current office or looking to get back in), etc.
Pathetic.
Like it's some big accomplishment that the idiot managed to speak without guidance.
Can you imagine if a Republican behaved exactly like Barry Sotero?
Dan Quayle was savaged for reading "potatoe" off a deliberately altered flash card (held up by a skank libtard NEA member.)
This Kenyan can't go off 'Prompter life support for 5 minutes without imploding.
No doubt the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), back when it had funding, had developed a prompter that works with holography, puts words in the air and doesn’t need screens. Romney’s debate advance crews had better look for suspicious projectors in the rooms before the debates.
I agree with you as to not letting the media moderate debates anymore. They can’t be trusted. I would pick people from different parts of American civil society. Like business leaders, religious leaders, law enforcement, judges, military, teachers, parents. I wouldn’t let only politicians do it.
Obama has to be the biggest retard we ever had as President. And that is insulting to retards (apologies)
Axelrod is the brains behind this operation
