Scares the crap out of me that one of our most secure nuclear facilities can be breeched by an 82 year old. Tells me that those in charge of such facilities are not up to the job or are not taking it seriously. What if the infiltrators had been a well-trained group of saboteurs?

I could almost thank this nun for bringing this vulnerability to our attention.

Probably the local security forces were hamstrung by feel good local management regs.

I’ve seen some of the security at Commanche Peak, here in Texas; breach the real security fence and you will be catching a hail of minigun fire about 30 seconds later. No “Well, if they look harmless, try to apprehend them instead” rules that I’m aware of.
