BOSTON (AP) — The men came from different walks of life on two continents: a children's puppeteer in Florida, a hotel manager in Massachusetts, an emergency medical technician in Kansas, a day care worker in the Netherlands. In all, 43 men have been arrested over the past two years in a horrific, far-flung child porn network that unraveled like a sweater with a single loose thread.
Investigators made one arrest after another of men accused of sexually abusing children, exchanging explicit photos of the attacks and even chatting online about abducting, cooking and eating youngsters.
"This isn't just a child that's nude and someone's taking pictures of him; this is a child that's being raped by an adult..."
The oldest victim in the Netherlands was 4, the youngest just 19 days old.
Massachusetts U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz, whose office prosecuted Diduca, said the demand for photos of sexual assaults of young children, including babies and toddlers, has increased sharply in recent years.
"This demand leads to the abuse of children, yet there is this misconception that somehow, viewing child pornography is a victimless crime," said. "It clearly is not."
The mother of one of the boys said she initially did not believe the allegations against Arnett, a family friend for about 15 years. She said her son, now 7, and several nephews often spent weekends at Arnett's home four or five years ago.
For the agents working on the case, the leads never seem to end.

There were 43 men arrested in this episode, all of them abusing children age 4 and younger. Trusted in their communities: but of course. It's the "trustedness" that gets them access to the children.
How do you react to stuff like this? How do you even grasp it?

Be glad you don’t grasp it. You don’t, because it’s evil. We know evil exists, but it’s not something to grasp unless we have a death wish (and I don’t mean physical death...).

And yet these people are now free to adopt children. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they get preferential treatment in adoptions. I guess sometimes we aren’t supposed to “think of the children.”

I have yet to hear Harry deny these allegations. Makes me wonder if perhaps they are indeed true.

We have monsters like this in our midst and the gays expend energy protesting Chick-fil-A. May God have mercy on us.
Even the most primitive tribe in the Amazon will kill or expel people like these. Our society is so degraded that pedophiles like these have their supporters. I know it’s true but can’t really get my head around it. They violate the most basic rules of human society.

It's an HBO documentary about one families ugly dark secret and the grandson who set out to expose it. To see these severely damaged adult women describe their horrific lives at the hands of a lifelong child molester is heartbreaking. They've all tried numerous suicide attempts. Almost everyone is a homeless alcoholic.
If you've never seen this...you will never be the same once you have. It's one of the most disturbing views into the minds of evil and it's victims.

About 17 years ago we had an old pastor from Atlanta, now deceased, come to our church in support of a young woman whose son was being raped by his father and the pictures sold on the Internet.
This pastor’s daughter married a doctor in Atlanta that later used his own daughter, 4 years old, in satanic rituals that he conducted. Because the network reached so high into the judicial hierarchy of that city, the old man fled with his wife, daughter, and granddaughter to LA. They were discovered there and had to flee to Charlotte, NC where they were successfully hidden for several years. I have no idea what happened to his daughter and grand daughter, but the pastor did tell me that over 100,000 children disappear each year in this country with many ending up in satanic rituals.

You nailed it. I would add that the quest for self gratification has become the ultimate pursuit for many in this age of selfishness. These people are so committed to themselves that they lack empathy for others to include children. Furthermore, just like an addiction to hard narcotics it continually takes more extreme doses (or material) to stimulate them.
There are some very sick souls out there and despite overwhelming evidence that pedophiles are incurable we continue to release them to harm children. In my opinion, a society that does not place the rights of innocent and defenseless children above the “rights” of perverts does not deserve to exist or thrive. You can’t help but think that God feels the same. I believe abortion by it’s very nature uses the same logic leading adults to place themselves above babies.
We live in dark times and too many Americans have acquiesced to the spread of darkness.
Satan and muslims control the world.
He needs to answer these chargers.

Harry Reid needs to confront these rumors, which are growing day by day. I actually saw this in a comment on the “Commentary” website, and that’s a pretty staid group.
Reid also needs to release his own tax returns, going back since he entered the Senate, at least, to demonstrate to the public how he was able to amass his vast wealth while living on the mere pittance we pay our public servants.
For pretty much anybody else (even such as Anthony Weiner, Bill Clinton, Tiger Woods) I would never associate their name with such a passle of scum as are mentioned in this news story, but Reid has sunk so low it doesn’t bother me at all.
The allegations about Harry Reid are shocking when you consider the fact that it has not been denied and that the Senate Majority leader is perhaps a child molester. Scary that we might have someone that high up in the Government with this level of evilness.
I wonder when we will be hearing from his supporters. I want them outted too.

I can’t help but think that a culture that embraces killing the unborn as a routine method of birth control isn’t a culture that places much importance on the kids who survive that first gauntlet.
During the Nineties, a similar group of pedophiles and their enablers and protectors was uncovered in France and Belgium. There was a big uproar particularly about being to trusting of government officials. I think a few woke up to the dangers of big government bureaucracy.

And sexual use of children was not uncommon in the ancient world, including the Romans, the forefathers of Western civilization.
Thailand and Vietnam turn a frequent blind eye toward child prostitution. I saw a documentary where the little girls in a Vietnamese brothel seemed more traumatized being taken into state custody than they did waiting for customers.
The sexual desire for children is not freakishly rare - which is why parents must be careful - no letting your children stay over with unrelated men - and why law enforcement has to stomp on predators.

The entry into adulthood at puberty is very common in the history of most cultures, including ours. However, sex with infants and toddlers has never been common. Pederasty, is common over many cultures. What these creeps did isn’t. Also, the fantasizing about cannibalism, while hot unknown, is quite rare.

IMHO, the kindest thing we could do is kill them quickly and send them to Judgement before God - “hasten the Final Meeting” - and He can take it from there. His Eternal Punishment would absolutely dwarf anything we could do to them here on earth.
