Studies have shown that Voter ID will not reduce turnout, if at all, by a significant amount, and with things like provisional ballots, etc. any reduction could be offset.
However, the most rampant form of voter fraud, which occurs in mail/absentee ballots, isn't affected by Voter ID laws unfortunately.

The only reason to be resistant to Voter ID is so you can continue to cheat. There is on other reason.
