President Barack Obama is playing a round of golf on his 51st birthday, kicking off a quiet birthday weekend away from re-election campaigning.
Obama was playing golf at Andrews Air Force Base on Saturday before heading to Camp David, the private presidential retreat in Maryland's Catoctin (kuh-TAHK'-tin) Mountains.
Obama got some early birthday wishes on Thursday during a campaign rally in Florida, where supporters sang "Happy Birthday" to the president.

51 years. What trimester is that?
My 51st is next week. Thanks to BO’s stinkbomb of an economy, it will likely be the last one in our home. MGD lost his job last week - our third bout of unemployment in the last 6 years. I don’t see any way to survive this one.
Are the wife and kids anywhere around or is he “celebrating” this birthday without them again?
PPOS really is working hard on the economy, laser like focus I tell ya . . . when you add the 104 rounds of golf at an average of 5 hours/round which works out to roughly 22 24-hour days on the links, add in the vacays, the nonstop campaigning and fundraising and ask yourself just how much has this clown really done for America?
November cannot get here soon enough!
nobama and his goons published a bunch of emails touting attendance at his birthday party for some lucky contributors (2, I think, plus one guest each) at his Chicago home.

What does staycation have to do with anything? Other than to make Obama appear down with the struggle... and not out of touch for playing golf (for the 104th time) as the unemployment rate goes up.
Poor baby! I guess a fabulous vacation, at taxpayer’s expense, just wouldn’t look good 3 months before the election now, would it?
Same boat here. I've done everything to stay in our house but we're being taxed out of it. It's getting down to the wire. One or two more years of scraping by and that'll be the end. No lie, I'm down to making kiddo's birthday presents from recycled dog food bags and freebie magazines.

Polls likely show their numbers would dive even further with news of another bash in Martha's Vineyard.
