Wrong, newbie/retread!

The answer went clearly OVER YOUR HEAD - it's happens to those who are in the bowing position.

A diseased mind cannot grasp the obvious - as you proved!

Thanks for being my experiment and proved - a sucker is a sucker and is unable to be anything else! The GOP used you, also, wanting to see how low you can go.

Now begone with you newbie/retread! Surely there is some gay fest you can attend instead of being on a GOD, FAMILY, COUNTRY site! Unless you've 'beenaround' to them all.

The Republican establishment treats conservatives worse than the Democrat Party treats Black Christians. Some conservatives will grab their ankles and take another shafting from the establishment and vote for a pro-homo, pro-abortion, pro-socialized medicine, nominee. Some of us will not.

BINGO.

“Yours is the best post on the thread!”

My post wasn’t long but one doesn’t have to be long to say Romney is a disgusting liberal homo supporter even in boy scouts.

Romney is a disgusting liberal homo supporter even in boy scouts.

Exactly - evil targets itself to anything good.

Surprise that he wants to lead America and LIED his way through - NOPE! But dumb clucks bow anyway and want company as misery always does.

Evil already has the 'left' side of the aisle, now it wants the 'right' side of the aisle!

"I have serious doubts as to whether this quote is accurate. First off, it does not make sense. The statement seems to directly contradict itself."

Congratulations. You have just described the essence of Mitt Romney. Of course it contradicts itself.

"Bottom line: I need to hear a definite position from Romney on this before making any judgement."

Good luck. Don't hold your breath.

LOL, ok I get it. Why so hostile? You didn't have to use 66 words in 4 paragraphs to avoid answering a question. What are frightened of here?

Imagine that, you've been bested by a lowly N00B.

BTW, here's the question one more time.

Do you actually believe Obama has a better chance at creating jobs and expanding both the economy as well as opportunity and success for entrepreneurs?

Guess what retread - I can use as many as or as little words I WANT.

WORDS go OVER YOUR HEAD - so you count them! You have nothing else to focus on as you are bound up with mitt tape - EVIL - as it owns you now.

YOU have NOTHING TO OFFER but still want to remain relevant by showing you can count. You are a bottomfeeder - a dime a dozen - obama has them on his side and GOP/mitt has them their own, also. Enjoy your turd cookie!

Wow, your absolutely brilliant. You can tell I'm an RNC Rep who show’s up every 4 years to lead you astray. Perhaps I lead a false flag op. perhaps I fly a black helicopter (sarc). Hearty LOL. Liberal Republicans still respect private sector jobs. Romney is an extraordinary capitalist and his very presence ( or Obamas absence) will jump start the economy. I base this on the fact that he ran Bain Capital ( notice the word capital) and other business ventures successfully. Now (sarc back on) I will get about the business of corrupting true conservatives on behalf of my RNC masters ( cue evil laugh)

You may not personally show up every four years, but every four years people of your ilk show up spouting the establishment talking points and are gone shortly after the election. As for Romney’s making lots of money running Bain, that means little.

Bloomberg made more money than Romney has by starting and running Bloomberg L.P. That doesn’t make him a conservative. Nor does it mean he’d be a good president. Larry Ellison also made more money than Romney and shares many of his left wing views. Paul Pelosi is also a liberal and also got rich running a venture capital investment and consulting firm. Shall I name more liberals who made lots of money in business who are as liberal as Romney?

You can shill for your establishment liberal all you want. Some here will buy into your spin. Some of us have heard it all too many times to fall for it again. We may have to suffer under another liberal regime but we will not lift the cup of hemlock to our own lips.

“If these people feel so strongly about the issue..they should start a parallel boys club that accepts gay leaders and kids and others who wish to join.”

They can call it the ‘Boys Scouting Boys Scouts’...or the ‘Dung Punching Boy Scouts’...and each campout a different boy gets to sleep with the leader...or maybe we can just call it ‘The Happy Valley Boys Club of America’.

And the ‘leader’ who subverts the most boys gets to sleep with Romney...’cause Mitt says it’s ok...

But not until after the election...we would not want to give the MSM a ‘real’ issue...

And no, I did not forget the /s tag...that this is not.

Hey, if I had my way my pastor would be the nominee. As it is Rick Santorum was the closest to satisfactory. I understand that as a conservative Christian I have to work with libertarians, Palio cons, neo cons, secular conservatives, economic conservatives, and the dreaded moderates. I'm not happy about this but that is how the world works. Liberal Republicans do care about their money, even though they tend to be amoral in other areas. Romney is now pro life, he is good on energy, and the economy. I will crawl through broken glass to support him over our communist and chief. If I can do it so can you.

We hear the same thing every four years from the RINO establishment and their supporters.

The very definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a new result. The RINOs insisted that we had to vote for their liberal nomine or the country would not survive. All we got was bigger, more intrusive, more expensive government.

The RINO establishment treats conservatives worse than Democrats treat Black Christians. Yet they expect us to vote for their liberal candidates. Well, they went to that well once too often.

I’m resigned to the fact that we are going to have a statist president. But it will not be because I voted for a statist. I will not vote for a pro-abortion, pro-amnesty, anti-Second Amendment, pro-homo marriage, and pro-homo military, pro-socialized medicine candidate of any party.

You’re free to have different values. I don’t judge you for supporting those things with your vote. It isn’t my place to judge you. It is my responsibility to vote for someone who holds the same values as I do. That is what I intend to do.

What choice do any of us have? I can't afford to be a purist. I see the 2nd term of Obama and I see 5 dollar gas and the price of food doubled. I see riots and increased lawlessness. His second term will probably see a regional war in the middle east. Then we will have 10 dollar gas. We will see Obama take control of the supreme court and we will see an increasingly irrelavant congress. This may be stuff of political dungeons and dragons for you but I live in realville and real people will get hurt. A brite shining libertarian future will not rise up from the ruin of the Obama administration. Only more decline. I can't afford your purity.

Over 50,000 Boy Scouts earn the title “Eagle Scout” every year, but the Democrat newsrooms need only a small handful to push the cowardly scumbag Mittens to the left. They will do this on each and every issue, and the cowardly, unprincipled Mittens will happily oblige until he is maybe just a hair to the right of Ubama. It’s ‘Kennedy/Romney 1994’ all over again.

If you can handle it, Google the old Kennedy/Romney debate videos from 1994 and be ready for a very painful experience. Watch Mittens try to out-liberal Teddy Kennedy and please the Democrat newsrooms. Watch Mittens fade from early frontrunner to landslide loser in a real hurry. Of course, I am pretty sure you will be able to see the replay this Fall in the Ubama/Romney debates.

The scumbag “moderate” Mittens will find a way to lose the race, count on that. In any event, Mittens will never get my vote.

Obama hasn't even taken a position on Boy Scouts so Romney to the left of him on the issue.

Romney is the father of gay marriage, favors gays in the military and homosexual adoption. FUMR!

1010, to question the veracity of my service in the military, and my career as a chaplain is on you. Marlowe and Jim Robinson above both know my name and can put it in google with Chaplain, Methodist, US Army, and I'm confident they can verify my identity. I don't lightly put that stuff on the web, so I'm sure you'll accept their vouching for me. I've been on FR since 1998, I've always told the same story, and I think they're comfortable vouching for me in any case. There is an infrequent visitor, a friend from Oklahoma, Vern, who actually witnessed my time in service. Vern isn't on FR often, but if he shows up, his word is first hand knowledge.

1010, this is the article on FREE REPUBLIC where I first saw the offending lines about Mitt Romney. First, I thought the title diverted the reader from the truth...that Mitt Romney HAD COME OUT in support of gays in the Boy Scouts.

So, since we cannot post the SAME article, a rule of Free Republic's, I went about find an article with a title that more adequately portrayed Mitt's position. I found it at Zimbio.

That article was removed from the sidebar for some reason, probably that it was from a blog or something like that, so I set about finding another article, and found the one from Christian News. Note the dates and times on the article below. Aug3, Aug 5, 1 am.

The word had gotten out to the Christian community about Romney's gayness by then, and they were appalled, as am I.

See the above article:

An Eagle Scouts Returns Medals (Romney reaffirms opposition to Boy Scout Ban on Homosexuals) Associated Press via Wooster Daily Record ^ | August 3, 2012 | DAVID CRARY

Posted on Sunday, August 05, 2012 1:00:57 AM by Kazan

NEW YORK (AP) -- For the physician in Illinois, the attorney in Kentucky, the arts editor in Oregon, their Eagle Scout medals were treasured reminders of youthful achievement. Yet each is parting with his medal out of dismay over the Boy Scouts' recently reaffirmed policy of excluding gays.

###

In contrast to Obama, Republican candidate Mitt Romney does have a public position on the Scouts' policy -- he politely disagrees with it.

Back in 1994, during a political debate in Massachusetts, Romney said this: "I support the right of the Boy Scouts of America to decide what it wants to do on that issue. I feel that all people should be able to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual orientation."

A Romney spokeswoman, Andrea Saul, said in an e-mail that this remains Romney's position today.

OK, I take your word for it, although I don’t know Vern. Zimbio is a very weird site for a conservative and PerezHilton.com even moreso.

My statement still stands. There is nothing new in this information about Romney. He’s not conservative. That’s known, but I also know Obama. He’s literally the worst that Cook County Democratic corruption can create. The average Cook County Democrat doesn’t hate America, doesn’t want to destroy what she stands for and wouldn’t kow tow to our enemies.

Romney despite all his absurd stances is better, much better. His statement on homosexuals and the Boy Scouts is nuanced. Romney states that he respects the freedom of association. Obama would force it on the Scouts. That’s a big world of difference.

My tagline is First Do No Harm. If Goode gets Obama re-elected that’s real harm. If you create a void you’d better fill it or the enemy will. Losing isn’t an option.

1010, I truly do understand your concern. What you must understand is that a Christian who believes as I do CANNOT vote for Romney, who believes as he does.

So, what do we do? We look for an acceptable 3rd party candidate. I have found him in Virgil Goode, a lifelong conservative who is running as the Constitution Party candidate.

I must also have a valid objective, if I think it possible but improbable that Goode will catch on. My objective is to help build the Constitution Party into America’s 2nd political party, a true conservative party.

Perhaps Romney can pull this out...I don’t know. If he doesn’t, you should come and join us.

By the way, I do know what PSYOPS is. I was chaplain for a SOCOM unit once upon a time during the GHWBush years.

I see your point and Romney makes me nuts. That said, I think the way to a Constitution Party is through the GOP. I believe the Democrats are nearing a crack up. It’s a great opportunity. I also believe that 4 more years of Obama will be much worse than 4 more years of Romney.

Don’t misunderstand me. Romney isn’t fooling me. I’m just not ready to vote for Cthullu, yet. My concern is that, particularly in Ohio and other battleground states, if conservatives abandon the GOP Obama wins.

If that happens Obama will be vindicated. The MSM will crow and we’ll be eating it. He’ll be worse than ever in a 2nd term. If he’s repudiated conservatism is advanced. That’s how I see it.

I’m in Illinois, so my vote won’t count. Your vote does count. You can help defeat Obama and our conservative Congress will keep him in check. We’ve got a long way to go and it must start this November.

Best to you.

Thanks, Vern. I didn’t know how often you show up on FR, but I appreciate your appearance tonight and your vouching for my military service.

Anything good for America, Romney hates!

There is a lot you can comment about, but you resort to childishness. First of all, Romney did not reaffirm the position, one of his spokesmen did. The headline from the original story is not what is indicated on this thread; FR is not monitoring its headlines and people here are now acting like liberals.

First, he supports the Boy Scout's position, but we will ignore that. Then he clintonizes himself. OK, that was eighteen years ago. Romney, not one of his aides, needs to be personally asked about this contradictory statement. In addition, this headline needs to be corrected.

But there's more to this story. Andrea Saul seems to be very un-witty. She's been criticized for her lousy responses to questions. On Hannity, Ann Coulter said that Saul should be fired for her gaffes.

Truth and objectivity are important - - sorry to see them go.
