LOL! They are “kennedys and they don’t
pay”... Paying is for little people

The clan has skiied at Aspen for years because of the freebies they demand and get

Donating inherited property to get a big tax write-off has its consequences

The EMK Institute is to open in 2014.

EMK Institute = Edwward M. Kennedy Institute

It received $32 million in government grants in 2010, according to tax filings

Taxpayer money mis-spent to idolize Ted Kennedy

The group spent $753,575 on “collectibles” in 2010. The money was used to buy Andy Warhol prints from Kennedy’s 1980 campaign and 752 copies of his book, “True Compass,”

Taxpayer money funneled back to the Kennedys.

“The institute is supposed to carry on Ted Kennedy’s legacy with a 40,000-square-foot facility at the University of Massachusetts campus in Boston.”

What are they carrying on? Drinking, raping and driving cars into the drink?

The mission of the EMK Institute for the United States Senate is to provide educational programs on government and democracy, and the new UMass facility, under construction, will include a mock-up of the Senate chambers.

Hopefully they will have room to display Ted's well known Oldsmobile (the assault weapon of choice for the Kennedy Klan)

I’m of two minds on this.

While it would greatly reduce the litter of crack vials, used needles, broken liquor bottles and include as well as a great reduction in murder, mayhem, and violence against women by the Kennedy Klan there might be a better solution.

A modest proposal; enclosing the large park with East German style fencing, guard towers, and barrier mine fields. Then forcing every single K-Klan member and hanger-on to live there for the rest of their unnatural lives with no chance for parole. A kind of state wildlife refuge coupled with reality TV. Paying visitors could watch Klan antics on jumbotrons in theaters at the periphery of the park or choose the monorail ride. Global broadcasts could perhaps garner enough money to assist in reducing the National Debt for which the Klan played a strong role. And of course all of Klan assests in trusts and various foundations would be immediately seized under Rico statutes and Patriot Act provisions.

So, the “Bog Trotter Clan” as PJ O’Rourke dubbed them is playing Kilkenny Cats amongst the family factions?

More popcorn is called for.

Sure wish the Kennedys would just go away, but the media won’t stop talking about them.

Don’t you just hate FRee-loaders? Only the Kennedys could make such a mess of a legacy.. well, the Clintons are giving ‘em a good run.

decreed that other Kennedy family members who want to use the lawn or the pool and tennis courts will have to come to a rental agreement with the nonprofit.

more concerned with legacy than blood

guess that has always been apparent...I can think of other rich families I'd rather be born into

however...having a family vacation home that large and costly to maintain and with property taxes in the stratosphere it would be difficult to get everyone to pony up (been there done that)

a family trust to maintain the home for the next generations would have been nice but I bet Rose and Teddy were banking on the "historical" aspect too....liberals will flock there to bask in Camelot's faded glow
