President Barack Obama's re-election campaign warned supporters in an email plea for cash on Monday that Mitt Romney's vast fundraising edge means "we're in trouble" with scarcely three months to go before Election Day.
"We got beat three months in a row," the campaign said in the unsigned message. "If we don't step it up, we're in trouble."
The appeal came hours after the two sides released their July fundraising totals, revealing that Romney and the Republican Party scooped up $101 million against the $75 million hauled in by Obama and the Democrats.

The amateur president is in trouble not because Romney is out-raising him, he is in trouble because of economy which is in a funk and people are blaming him for it.
Hope and change has been replaced by fear and disillusionment.
Obama has spent a fortune in the battleground states and leads early in some important polls. Romney has yet to counter in these critical states. Certainly hope that Romney’s strategy is sound. No doubt there will be sixty days of unrelenting Romney advertising in these states beginning after Labor day. However despite all the woe is me talk from the Obama camp, there is no doubt in my mind that somehow they will ultimately have as much money as they need. Probably over 500 million dollars will be spent in just six battleground states. The stakes for the country are enormous.

He doesn’t need as much money as Romney, he gets free advertising daily on CNN, MSNBC, NPR, CBS, ABC, PBS, and every major newspaper in America.

Why do so many suspect Obama has access to all the money he possibly needs—from foreign sources. Obama is spending it like he has plenty even when the millions on the Bain attack gained no real traction, but to throw off the referendum on his own communist regime change.
The money imho will never be a problem, but the media will make us think it will. Ulsterman reports the QE3 is the Bernake plan for our October Surprise, perhaps in September, and Ben is said to have the votes for it. This would bring with it, reportedly, some relief to Wall Street who might then flirt back with Obama and throw some cash and support his way that has been frozen this election cycle.
Dumbed down voters, per public education and feel good religion, won’t see further than they can blow their nose. Then of course their are the 50 % on the socialist dole already, compliments of both Dems and the GOPE. Wallah. We’ve got a close one if those swing states don’t break our way soon.

I don’t think America has yet crossed the Rubicon into majority becoming dumber than a 2 year old ******.
I personally know dozens of people who voted for Obama in 2008 are now severely disappointed. Unless Romney makes a major gaffe, or picks a true RINO for VP, Obama is going down big.
My hunch is Romney will release his taxes a week before election day so that he will be spared 24-7 nit picking by Obozo campaign (which includes MSM). They will simply run out of time.

Is Romney working to raise money, or is it falling in his lap? I think it may be the latter. We have seen no fundraising ads or materials of any kind for Romney at our house. I think what may really be bothering the Obama camp is that they are begging for money and losing the money chase, while Romney is just campaigning.
I've gotten Romney fundraising materials in the mail, but not an overwhelming amount for this time in a Presidential election year.
IMHO - This is classic misdirection and a halfa**ed attempt to position himself as the underdog.
The real test will be if O’Bozo elects to reject public funding for the fall presidential campaign as he did in 2008.

My suspicion is that it’s going to be a close election. A lot of money will be spent by the two candidates trying to distinguish themselves, when their underlying philosophical differences aren’t that significant.

In 2008 the cults of the left were disciplined and united, this time around the arrogance and bullying tendencies have surfaced, and president dipstick is seen as chasing their lead.
Normally, the republican candidates pick up a much higher percentage of their campaign donations in smaller amounts from more people than the dems. Wonder how that’s holding up this cycle? I don’t know anyone who would donate to romney. I figure since the establishment wanted him so badly, they can fund him as well.
