Obama aides say president now has personal 'genuine disdain' for Romney

For President Barack Obama, it’s now personal.

A new book cites Obama aides saying the president has a “genuine disdain” for Mitt Romney.

“One factor made the 2012 grind bearable and at times even fun for Obama: he began campaign preparations feeling neutral about Romney, but like the former governor’s GOP opponents in 2008 and 2012, he quickly developed a genuine disdain for the man,” author Glenn Thrush writes in the soon-to-be released e-book “Obama’s Last Stand.”

Thrush — a reporter for Politico, which published book excerpts Sunday – writes that Obama’s feelings for Romney are different from how he personally felt about other Republican opponents on the Hill, and about other campaign rivals in the past.

“Obama, a person close to him told me, didn’t even feel this strongly about conservative, combative House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, the Hill Republican he disliked the most,” Thrush writes. “At least Cantor stood for something, he’d say.”

No surprise there. Romney actually earned his success.

Doubtful at best.

There is nothing whatsoever "genuine" about Obama.

"“It’s why he played to win—and why so many of his top staffers were former high school and college jocks, guys—and they were, after all this time, mostly men—who’d start a fifteen-hour day with a ninety-minute run. ‘He’s the single most competitive man I’ve ever met,’ Robert Gibbs, his first press secretary, told me, adding: ‘What’s the one thing Barack Obama hates more than losing? Losing twice.’"

A 90 minute run? The only thing that Gibbs runs for is the dinner bell, and it's obviously not for 90 minutes. When I saw Gibbs was on CNN with Candy Crowley this weekend, my first thought was, "Did the studio floor collapse?"

Are these people all drunk or high? Or just living in some alternate universe?

This is a well planed campaign strategy by Obama. As reported elsewhere, they have done internal polling showing that the person who has the best “like-ability” always get elected. So there is a media/Democrat campaign trying to show the Obama is loved and Romney is an awful person from a personal like-ability standpoint.

” ‘That doesn’t hold true for Romney. He was no goddamned war hero.’”

I don’t think I believe any of this.

But it really is the kind of small-minded, cross-wired, hypocritical nonsense I’d expect from that worthless bag of used bed pans.

He’s so good at it, Obama has almost single-handedly brought Jackassery to the level of being a Fine Art.

'genuine disdain'

That could mean that whenever former pResident Obama's in Kennebunkport, Romney may not be invited.

In Obama's case it's called narcissistic rage.

Personal GRIND of a campaign.

The man hardly works at all! He never has more than two meetings a day on the white house schedule, they NEVER start before 10AM.

He travels around the country on Air Force 1. He doesn't have to schedule his own travel, go through airport security, sit in Coach with no food a cup the size of a thimble for water, a wait at the rental counter for a crap car that costs a fortune to rent and a need to drive himself in traffic between the airport and his speech only to reverse course and do the same all over again to get back home.

He lives better than a king. and he calls it a grind!

FUBO!
