Joe Soptic, the man blaming Romney for wife’s death, is a familiar face on the anti-Romney beat

Former steel worker Joe Soptic has resurfaced in a new pro-Obama Super-PAC ad, blaming Romney for his wife’s death from cancer.

“I do not think Mitt Romney realizes what he’s done to anyone,” Soptic says in the ad. “And furthermore I do not think Mitt Romney is concerned.”

But Soptic is actually a familiar face on the anti-Bain beat, and accused Romney of this before.

Soptic was featured in an Obama ad in May, who explained that although he wasn’t “rich” he was able to put his daughter through college.

In January, Soptic complained to Democracy Now, a liberal non-profit TV station, that when the steel company he worked for was bought out by Bain, they tried to buy out his job.

“I guess the first thing I noticed that when the company was bought out by GST, They became very union non-friendly, they started looking for ways to eliminate jobs,” Soptic said.

Joe Soptic is a POS! Joe killed his wife by not getting her health insurance over 5 years after his job site closed down then has the nerve to blame Romney who hadn't been involved in the plant in over 7 years.

That’s what I’ve been thinking all day. The loser didn’t even know is own wife was sick. If anybody is responsible for his wife’s death it’s him.

What kind of gratuity is he receiving for appearing in the ad?

Was he working in the steel mill that was failing when Bain bought it and kept it open trying to turn it around?

The shamelessness of the democrats is bottomless. No depth is too low for them as a party, including the destruction of the country that guaranteed their freedom.

So he was union? Where was the union taking care of him like they promise? And what job did he hold from 2001 when he was laid off until 2006 when his wife died?

Time do do some archive news searching.

Charles Bradford, an analyst at Bradford Research, blames the union, in part, for the failure of GS Industries to survive in the new global marketplace.

"If you look at the steel companies that went under at the time, all of them were unionized," he said. "I'm not saying this was the only factor -- these firms faced other headwinds such as cheap labor and a strong dollar ... but the unions held them back."

Union officials blame the Bain managers for saddling the company with too much debt for a capital-intensive, cyclical industry such as steel.

Democrats ALWAYS blame someone else for their stupidity, lack of effort, lack of self-respect, etc., etc.

The trouble is, Lawyers jump on any opportunity where deep pockets exist, to claim "negligence" or "cause/effect" bullshit, and their buddies on the Bench (former Lawyer co-horts) Rule in their favor.....

We need a do-over, BAD.

Just caught a bit of this with Erin Burnett on CNN. They have confirmed that the wife’s employer was her health care provider.

“According to Mr. Soptic, his wife received her primary insurance through her employer – a local thrift store called Savers – and retained it even after his layoff. Soptic’s policy through GST Steel was her secondary coverage.”

Good find. Joe not only killed his wife, he killed her by denying her the right to use her own insurance.
