Have you seen her ad that she was running? It was all about Akin was too conservative for Missouri. From what I had heard, her internal polling showed she fared better against Akin than against the others. I believe that I also read that in the Hannibal Courier Post. I am not sure if it was the Sunday or Monday edition that was discussing that Claire’s ad was designed to promote Akin.

I wonder if Drudge will like this result more than he did Cruz winning in Texas.

Drudge played that one down.

Funny you mentioned that.
He had an article before the race below the fold, but
I never saw him post the results of the race.

That appeared odd to me.
Hell, he didn’t even post the Historic Mars Rover landing
until mid-monday morning.

Well, I’m calling this race for Akin and getting ready to get to bed.

Be afraid McCaskill, be very afraid!

Afraid?
You should thank MCCaskill for endorsing Akin.
It appears McCaskill’s endorsement carried the day for Akin.
Good luck and Go speed.

Akin will scare Claire out of the senate. She wouldn’t stand a chance against any of the candidates.

Palin and the rest of the National Tea Party organizations should respect the voters of MO and not interfere in the general election.
After all it appears it was McCaskill’s (RAT) endorsement
in the primary race of Akin, that carried the night.

Dude, you don't even live here. And you don't know what you're talking about.

McCaskill didn't endorse Akin, she ran an ad portraying him as "too conservative for Missouri." That's not an endorsement, and this conspiracy bull that she ran the ad because she perceives him as the weakest challenger is just nonsense.

Akin is winning on the strength of his record. I've lived in his district since he was first elected and he is solid conservative. I'll be sorry to see him go, he's been a great representative.

McCaskill knows what she's doing. We don't need to live in MO to know these well worn tactics.

You better hope Akin can win in Nov.

I think Palin and the rest of the Tea Party organizations
should respect your and others vote for Akin tonight and not
interfere with the primary election.
Conservatives in MO have spoken. Good luck in the primary.

If Adkin wins tonight, give McCaskill, the Rat, credit.

Can we please put that stupid story line to bed? Akin has been a good Representative and would make a good Senator. He's not flashy but conservative, liked, and respected.

You don't know crap, pal, except how to shoot off your fool mouth.

I don't know where you're from and I couldn't care less. But don't sit behind your keyboard and preach to me about people I've known for decades.

Better hope Akin can win in Nov? Or what??

You'll rebuke me with a strongly worded post?

What a maroon.

It’s easy for someone with no record in office to say he’s the most conservative.

You’ve got that right. I am looking forward to a debate between Claire and Todd...he will chew her up and spit her out.
