We need a Conservative candidate of the far right.

We do but I'd settle for a run-of-the-mill conservative. Liberals in line with homofascism like Romney are unacceptable.

I think that he and his handlers figure that the Conservatives, Rinos, And fence sitters have no where else to go if they are voting against Obama.

Many will stay home or vote third party. The Republican party needs to get the message that it will give us a conservative nominee or its candidate will lose. That is ONLY way the country will ever move to the right.

I like that he stood up for the boyscouts without alienating the gay community.

How in the world did he stand up for the Boy Scouts?

He has been attacking the BSA for at least 10 years, going back to the 2002 Winter Olympics, where as CEO of the games he had them excluded from participation.

Screw the homosexual-promoting bastard.

You know, Romney’s position that the Boy Scount organization — not Obama’s Justice Department — should decide who is to be admitted.

That is no different than Barney Frank's position.

But, this comment represents the idiocy of the lesser-than-two-evil strategies. Now, we're supposed to be happy the Republican nominee only promotes homosexuality but doesn't force it on citizens. People like you, incredibly, consider that a good thing.

Screw that. FUMR.

He said he supports the right of the boy scouts to choose for thrmselves who they accept.

Oh, he supports the Constitution and freedom of association and we're supposed to be grateful? Even most Democrats would claim they support that.

More evidence of how absurd the lesser-of-two-evils crowd is. We're supposed to be happy now Republicans are only using their power to promote the homosexual agenda rather than force it on citizens. Unbelievable.

He supports their right to choose their members. What else do you want him to say?

I would like to point out that the last time there was a perfect candidate who everyone seemed to agree with we ended up with Obama. Thanks, but no thanks.

Incidentally...

FuBO just came out of the closet in favor of letting the deviants have access to kids too.

O.K., so what is your plan? What is your end game. So we listen to you and do not vote for Romney. What happens then? Four more years of Obama? I think THAT is “unbelievable”. That your Opinion of a Romney opinion justifies your not voting at all or voting for third party candidate which in turn hands the election to Obama is...UNBELIEVABLE.

Next election cycle lets have at least one candidate who is against that.

Yeah, like we actually had a say in it....

I made a similar point earlier today.

An ABBBO pings me with “Well I am voting for Romney...” as I get frequently. I know I didn't ask.

So I reply cleverly :”You can vote for who you want just like you did in the Republican primary. Did that make a difference in the outcome?”

” We still have a First Amendment right of free association. And we need to jealously guard and defend it, and close ranks around the Boy Scouts to help them.

There was a time in this country when Men wouldn’t put up with this sh*t. It’s time to bring that back.”

Starting today!

“...life, homosexuality, the responsibility to protect oneself and one’s family....”

I am against that which counters the wise paths God has given mankind as well. Other (anti-God) paths have profoundly corrupted our nation....but Obama has supported that sinful corruption MORE than anyone else. Thus, the focus must be on Obama’s defeat. Even Romney will not be THAT corrupt....compared to Obama. THUS, I will logically do all in my power to defeat Obama!

Next election cycle lets have at least one candidate who is against that.

We have one of those in *this* election cycle, Virgil Goode. The candidate is there and happy to have our votes. But much of the electorate is so busy wringing their hands about "electability" that they fear to vote for him. I guess it's more important for some to be on the "winning" team than to defend our God-given freedoms. But maybe that tide will turn as the conservative movement grows, and the Republican party does not. I picture the Republicans haemorrhaging members just like the ELCA has as it slipped off the reservation. The Constitution Party welcomes us.

The only plan that will move the nation to the right in the next five years (memorize it!):

We continue to build the largest Republican and conservative majority in Congress (rendering any Obama legislation DOA) and at the state level that has been seen in decades while nominating and electing a conservative like Scott Walker in 2016.

He supports their right to choose their members.

He is using the bully pulpit to pressure the Boy Scouts into accepting homosexuals. If you don't understand why that is unacceptable, you're as clueless as he is.

Kazan, I think we are finally in agreement! After my preferred candidate did not win the primary, that is the same conclusion I came to. Only problem is that if Obama has to sign legistlation given to him by a republican Senate, he is not likely to sign it. Romney would have to sign it or he’s another 1 term President. That is why he has my vote. Tearing him down gets us nowhere. I think people are parsing words on this one. but it’s nice we still have the right to (for now).

It won't matter what Romney does in office. If he is elected, he will be the Republican nominee in 2016 and and most of the ABO crowd will support. You're blowing smoke if you claim otherwise. The Democrat will always be a worse bogeyman than the Republican no matter how liberal the Republican is.

But, if Romney does get in an enact liberal policies (and I predict he will), all the gains made in 2010 are gone. Republicans will lose congress and we'll be back exactly where we in 2008.

Again, I have to ask you, “what is your plan?”. What do want to see happen? Unfortunately you have only 2 options in this election. 1 has already shown us what kind of president he would be, The other has not. Which do you stand with?
