“I just wish he also included Menendez.”

His problems maybe congenital. His brain’s growth may have been arresrted along with his height.

I think Lautenberg’s problems may have been connected to defective upbringing and senility.

I voted for Lonegan also. Christie is the probably the best we can expect in New Jersey, given its demographics (invaded from New York City and Philadelphia)but on the national level, we sure can do a hell of a lot better.

Thank you for your response. I really can’t add anything more to it.

We are faced with a clear choice between a less than optimal candidate who is neveertheless a good God-Fearing Patriotic American and a creature of undetermined allegiance and clear Muslim connections whose entire “reign” has been dedciated to undermining the Free Market System and the American Constitution.

Its as simple as that.

By the way, Ronald Reagan made me a registered Republican. After what the GOP establishment did to Barry Goldwater, I didn’t want to have anything more to do with them.

Like you I voted for Bush I - TWICE, despite very heavy misgivings and despite having voted against him in the primary. Ditto with Bush II.

The Bushes, Doles, Whitmans, etc are clearly a POX on America that prevent Americans from making a CLEAR choice.

Their focus is more restricted to protrecting their own personal finances than national economic health or the County in general or even the Constitution or political philosophy.

Life rarely gives us a clear, easy choice. The 1980 election was one such rare event, and I treasure that fact and the sheer schaedenfreud of seeing all of the libs go nuts when Reagan won.

The choice we face here is simple - not easy, mind you, but simple. Either Obama will win or Romney will - there’s simply no other person that stands any chance. Therefore, the choice is between 4 more years of a person who clearly hates this country, who has set the tables for ruling via Executive Order and regulatory fiat, who has blatantly said that he’ll give the Russians a better deal on a treaty once the election is over, and who will be utterly unaccountable for his actions...vs. the second choice, a VERY far from ideal candidate with a LOT of flaws and horrible positions on issues that are near and dear to not only both of us, but to most on FR and roughly 50% of the population at large - but he’ll be accountable 4 years from now, and the media will actually do its job of being his watchdog (unlike Obama).

IOW, the choice is between big (and certain) Evil and little (and accountable) evil. Sometimes that is the regrettable choice that The Big Guy gives us. As I mentioned in my prior post, I used to be like you, to think in black and white terms, but I learned my lesson. I’d rather get 30% of what I want, and be able to pressure my Representative and Senators to stop the worst of what Romney might propose, than to get 0% of what I want and have no chance of my reps having any influence over the President. You, of course, are entitled to your own contrary view - but in my opinion, you are wrong. We will probably have to agree to disagree.
