A college classmate of Barack Obama who wrote a column asserting “The Obama Scandal is at Columbia” says he received a call from a reporter who claims to have “absolute proof” Obama became an Indonesian citizen.
WND has reported since 2008 that an Indonesian school record shows Obama attended school in the Asian nation registered as an Indonesian citizen and as a Muslim.
Wayne Allyn Root, in an interview with fill-in host Joe Pagliarulo on the “Glenn Beck Program,” said he received a phone call at 4 a.m. this morning from an investigative reporter with Breitbart.com probing Obama’s past in Indonesia.
The reporter, according to Root, a former Libertarian Party vice-presidential nominee, said he has “absolute proof” Obama was adopted by his mother’s new husband and became an Indonesian citizen.
“It’s a fact, it’s not a question,” the reporter told Root. “I’m looking at [the proof] right now.”

I couldn’t agree more. wnd has milked this thing beyond death and into infinity without ever proving a mumbling thing.
WND has to knock off this nonsense. They’ve done some good work, but this silliness is out of hand. They need to put-up or shut-up. If they are uncertain, or don’t have a “lock” on a source, they need to sit on it a bit. Not play these games like this and destroy credibility (if they actually have any left now).

The word is out that Obama is a citizen of Indonesia. It is up to him to release ten years of documents to prove he isn’t.

Apparently this doesn’t matter. Someone pointed out that, regarding citizenship, a parent can’t surrender his child’s citizenship rights. So, if Obama was a US citizen to start with, his Indonesian citizenship as a minor doesn’t trump his US citizenship. They are his to claim as an adult.
What is really is important is this: Who you are is where you were when...
If you look at Obama’s life, the people he imprinted on and modelled himself after on were NOT Americans. Regardless of his actual citizenship, Obama is not an American in thoughts or beliefs.

Minors don't have a 'legal presence' such as the ability to sign legally binding contracts, etc., so a minor can't legally renounce their citizenship.
After 18, however, it becomes another matter. Any child claiming foreign citizenship AFTER reaching the age of majority is a foreigner in fact.

According to his published BC, he’s a British subject so US citizenship law doesn’t apply to deciding how/whether/when he switched to Indonesian citizen.

For those screaming “give us the proof”, why, it does not matter.
1) It is 100% proof positive his BC is a forgery. Anyone who ever worked in printing in a pre-press operation could spot this forgery in under 30 seconds.

Barry returned to Indonesia to visit his family.
Zero himself stated that he was in Indonesia in the summer of 1981 immediately prior to traveling to Pakistan.
We don’t know how many other times he traveled to visit his mother and sister in Indonesia.
Making a formal renunciation before a US consular officer is not the only way a person can lose his US citizenship.
There are a number of other ways under the statute to lose US citizenship. Making allegiance to a foreign country, applying on one’s own initiative for naturalization in a foreign state or fighting in the ranks of a hostile foreign army are all actions that automatically cause loss of US citizenship.
If Obama had an Indonesian passport when a child, and periodically renewed it such as during his 1981 trip to Indonesia, then he likely lost his US citizenship by taking such an action as an adult.
This is because Indonesia strictly insisted that no US citizen or citizen of any other country was entitled to hold an Indonesian passport. Obama therefore would have had to deny his allegiance to the US in order to periodically renew or obtain a new passport from Indonesia.
That would have automatically lost him US citizenship, even if no one in the US embassy or elsewhere in the State Department knew about it at the time.
