Barry, she only happens to be First Lady because she happens to be married to you. There's no requirement that the President have a wife nor that his wife take any part in anything relating to his office. After Harold Washington did you figure you had a better shot at mayor of Chicago if you were married? I know you're probably hurting for Michelle's $300K/year sinecure at the University of Chicago diverting poor patients to less adequate hospitals. Did you think of having her stay in Kenwood and keep the gig? It probably would have saved you both a lot of trouble.

Looks like Zero is desperate enough to return to the tired old meme about women not getting paid the same as men. This illustrates the automatic advantage that liberals have in the public forum. Why? Because it makes it look as though women are not valued as much as men in the workplace. Certainly the numbers support this perception - women average lower than men on the average wage they earn compared to men. If you think about it logically, you can figure out why the average works out that way, but most liberals and other non-thinkers don't bother to expend the mental energy necessary to figure out why that is - they are happy to scream about average pay for women being lower and are all too eager to cry foul and "unfair". And the brain-dead media parrot that same line.

Perhaps he’s setting the stage for issuing a 2-o’clock-in- the-morning Executive Order that tells the State Dept to pay the moocher $500,000 per year (tax-free, of course) out of it’s budget, for all the travel ‘promoting the USA and entertaining foreign officials in Embassy’s around the world. The Dept of Agriculture shall pay her $280,000 per year since she is the country’s official dietitian and has the sole responsibility for guiding school lunches throughout the USA.

Being first lady is a “tough job”?!

My first paying job was mucking out horse stalls in the heat of summer afternoons. The smell of ammonia was enough to turn your stomach, and the thoroughbreds didn’t have the sweetest dispositions, either. Getting kicked and bitten just went with the territory.

I’d LOVE to see Michelle with a wheelbarrow full of road apples and a square nose shovel!
