Al Gore to anchor Current TV convention coverage By Judy Kurtz - 08/08/12 05:55 PM ET
Former Vice President Al Gore will be leading political convention coverage for Current TV, the network announced Wednesday.
Gore heads up the progressive cable station, along with businessman Joel Hyatt.
The 2000 Democratic presidential nominee will be joined on-air by a mix of Current TV personalities, including: former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer (D), The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur and former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm (D).
Im pleased to be participating in Current TVs impressive line-up throughout the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, Gore said in a press release.
Gore has made light of his famously dry delivery in the past, once joking, "Al Gore is so boring, his Secret Service code name is Al Gore."
I wonder if I can persuade my Congressional representative to sponsor legislation REQUIRING ex-office holders to quietly retire somewhere and leave us alone.
That means you, Al. Take Jimmy and Bill with you- go fish or play poker or something.
This could be very misleading for the people in traction or otherwise unable to reach the remote.
I sure the majority of viewers would rather what paint dry on the wall that watch this political brain-fart trust fund for 3 nights or better yet they would rather sniff paint for those 3 nights!
“Anchor” doubly appropriate in this case.
With his shape- a mushroom anchor.
OH MY.. They could quadruple their viewership, to 18.. wait.. Tipper is out.. make that 17, but add the masseuses, oh.. wait.. make that 14. Yep.. could be 14.. :)
And I’ll bet that all 42 viewers will love it.
Algore finally found his calling. He’s going to be an anchor. But for which boat?
Now that’s must-pee TV.
What? Failed Congressman Weiner(D-NY)won’t not be in the line-up?
Who’s Al Bore?
I hope his true colors come out drastically and this backfires dramatically.
Is he still being prosecuted for attempted rape?
