Officer’s Chick-fil-A comments investigated

DALLAS - A controversy surrounding Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day has come to light at Dallas police headquarters.
Dallas Police Association President Ron Pinkston said Sgt. Mark Johnson of the Southeast Patrol Division brought a Chick-fil-A sandwich to the briefing room last Wednesday.
It was the same day thousands of people across the country went to the restaurant chain as part of an effort to show support for the CEO's stand against gay marriage.
Two lesbian officers filed complaints against the sergeant. They said his comments and actions left them embarrassed and humiliated.
Sgt. Johnson, who has been with the department for 12 years, was transferred. The internal affairs department is investigating the complaints.

I’m too honest to let this one go by without saying something. This is very misleading—both the headline and the article. It was nothing that he brought the Chick-Fil-A sandwich to the office. It was what he said to the lesbian officers that got him into trouble—something to the effect of “See where I went for lunch today?” It was a deliberate slam or joke toward the officers. I think some kind of discipline was appropriate. He could have brought the sandwich in without making any comment and he wouldn’t have gotten in trouble (IMHO).
Maybe the “Butch” officers directed comments to him.
Maybe they did a Kiss-in at the station.
If maybes were nickels we’d never want again.
The article makes it seem like the male officer with the Chick Fil A made the comments.
In the case that he made negative remarks to co-workers, it’s about much more than the sandwich and the headline is misleading.
Sue me ... I’d rather have the details.
He tried to start a fight. Again, MHO.
Meanwhile, these same 2 lesbos could lead each other in by dog collars, wearing butless chaps and there wouldn’t be a word.
He was “punished” due to his words. Why does the title not really fit what happened? This will be an open and shut case unless he called them a carpet muncher or something.
If he was mouthing off to the lezzies (not unsurprisingly, I know a few LEO's where I live that are meatheads) then he has to take his lumps like the rest of us wage slaves.
I wouldn't put past them to have commented on his choice of lunch and he stood his ground.

The comments are key, aren’t they? The guy’s a sergeant - he’s supposed to know when to keep his mouth shut.

People may get fed up but they won’t do shit about it. On Tuesday the state of Washington had an election and only 20% bothered to vote, and the ballots were all mailed home weeks before the election so there was no reason not to vote. The same assholes got back into office.
Get use to this because the left are in control and the right are too damn lazy to do a damn thing about it.
