A senior U.S. Army soldier was killed along with a couple of majors by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan, and three special forces soldiers were gunned down by an Afghan commander who had won their trust and invited them to dinner.

The suicide bomber struck Wednesday as a group of U.S. military and civilian officials from the 4th brigade, 4th Infantry Division were in Sarkowi in Kunar Province, which is located in eastern Afghanistan. The suicide attacker detonated an explosive vest near the group. Killed in the attack were Command Sgt. Maj. Kevin J. Griffin, 45, of Laramie, Wyo., the brigade's senior enlisted soldier. The explosion also killed American USAID Foreign Service Officer Ragaei Abdelfattah. Another American foreign service officer and an Afghan civilian were also injured in the attack.

..... Afghan sources say the three killed service members were U.S. special forces who had been invited to dinner today in a small village of Mosa Qala, in southern Afghanistan.

........ During the dinner, in which Afghan local police were present, Asadullah opened fire, killing three soldiers and injuring one. He then escaped and joined the Taliban, who quickly boasted of the mission's success.

‘a team of American military and civilian officials approached the provincial council’s office in Sarkowi in Kunar Province.’

This looks like a setup. The arrival of the command party was known and the AQ was tipped off to it.

Friendship with the infidel is forbidden to Muslims..Forget the nature of Islam and pay the price.

Islam Delenda Est - Because of what Islam is, and because what Muslims do.

...and three special forces soldiers were gunned down by an Afghan commander who had won their trust and invited them to dinner.

Hopefully their colleagues will be let off leash to avenge them.

Every General over there is a joke and a traitor. They all support the farce that Afghans are our well meaning allies. They force our men to interact warmly with murderers waiting for a chance.

It would be like Patton ordering men to go have dinner with nazis and to have a few SS men live among them, and stand watch. It’s insane and its treason. One time i could understand, but this is a clear pattern.

Petraeus, McChristol, Norton Schwartz who wants to GIVE them attack aircraft too. Any bets as to how long before a Super Tucano drops a load on an American base?

Everyone wearing a star should be stripped to private and forced to stand a post with an Afghan soldier every night for six months. Bastards.

Yes the Turcano is a really sturdy aircraft that is pretty easy to fly and can carry a lot of ordnance. Just the ticket for having a green on blue mini pearl Harbor. Bah
