If Obama does win again, it could be said he didn’t achieve victory on his own. (He has all those entitlement people to thank.)

Fox has always employed Democrats.
I recall 85 % voted for OBama .
UCLA media analysis pinpointed them as Leftists ( aka Libs)
When we lived in Tampa, my wife's FOX news buddies were all gay Leftists who all moved in their organization just like CNN ! Just look at Sheppy Smith , an outed GAY LEFTIST. FOX is a bad scam that has run its course.

Some FOX lefty was on the local radio and trying to lie about the FOX POLL disaster.
It was sad to hear the lies and excuse.

I was thinking the same thing. Historic is one of the most over used words but this election may very well be historic. We have never had a real mandate from all three branches at the same time, the closest was in 2000 but we barely won the White house, a lost 4 in the Senate to barely retain it at 50 + Chaney. So if we can win the White house and take a big majority in the Senate and house, we can start to get this country on track for our future.

Until January (or February I forget) of 2011, Fox News had partnered with Opinion Dynamics. Their polls featured more realistic numbers that usually showed Obama doing worse in approval rates than other MSM polls(except for Ras). These new polling partners more often than not use unrealistic party sample breakdowns.

You have a point but the 1940 and ‘44 elections were when we were preparing and then involved in WWII. After the blowouts of the 1936 election the Democrats were beginning to loose Senate seats. The ‘44 election with Dewey was closer than expected. At that point many people knew Roosevelt was ill and probably dying. Bambi is no Roosevelt. He has lost his “mojo”. The young will not turn out for him and the regular Dems. will not either. Not in the numbers they did in’08. It very well may be close but if Romney actually unloads on Bambi it could be a blowout. Gas is shooting up. No one in their right mind thinks anything is better. In the ‘36 election Roosevelt could point to a slightly better economy. Not much but something. He had not alienated voters like Bambi.

Conservatives keep scratching their heads about the numbers in the Fox News Poll that favors Obama. I did a litle research and found out that Fox News employs a company named “Opinion Dynamics” to actually conduct the poll. Opinion Dynamics is a Massachusetts based company who’s list of clients is about as liberal as it can get. Fox News should divorce itself from Opinion Dynamics and perhaps sponsor a credible pollster like Rasmussen.

I could only hope that MN would follow suit, but I suppose I’m treading in fantasyland with that hope.

Let's not get carried away.

When we get voter ID this fall, there may be a slight chance for the future.

IA is crucial as it appears NV is a lost cause and CO is dicey.

Way too soon to be that pessimistic. Now that the Ryan pick has been made, all bets are off. Look at the state polls after the RNC. Also, look at the crowds that Ryan is sure to draw in Iowa tomorrow.
