He's known as "America's Toughest Sheriff". But Joe Arpaio continues to show he deserves the moniker of "America's JOBS Sheriff". Because every time Sheriff Joe conducts a raid, he frees up jobs for legal American workers.
Yesterday was no exception, as Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies raided the large General Nutrition Corporation (GNC) distribution warehouse in Phoenix. GNC is the dominant retailer of nutritional supplements in the U.S., with stores across the country.
MCSO's Jeff Sprong says the vitamin distribution business employed as many as 21 suspects using false identifications to secure employment. Two suspects were using social security numbers belonging to dead persons, Sheriff Joe Arpaio said.
About 30 MCSO deputies are involved in the operation. Arpaio says five people were arrested. One person was hiding in a women's bathroom, while another tried to hide under some type of equipment. Someone familiar with the business tipped off the Sheriff's office last year about illegal immigrants using fake IDs.
"This is a big, big operation..over 1,100 stores on the west coast and Alaska and Hawaii..we're not done yet. We have five in custody and will continue to look for the rest," Arpaio said.MCSO officials have told SWA that all 5 workers arrested thus far were in fact illegal aliens. It was the sheriff's 59th such sweep. In the previous 58 employer sanctions/identity theft operations, 100% of all suspects found to be committing identity theft to gain employment were illegal aliens. The Maricopa County Sheriff ’s office has investigated, arrested on the streets and in the jails over 51,000 illegal aliens.
"Illegal aliens are stealing identities of U.S. citizens to gain employment which escalates our unemployment problems. I don’t believe we should tolerate this. Furthermore, I will continue to enforce all federal and state illegal immigration laws in the business sector through human smuggling and crime suppression operations, despite activists and the federal government who may not like it,” said the Sheriff.See the video report here. Notice how the sniveling local reporter Mike Watkiss absurdly gives camera time to an illegal alien supporter who "sees nothing wrong" with illegals using the stolen identity of Americans - including those who are desceased. And of course he works in a mention of the absurd "racial profiling" lawsuit that was filed against Sheriff Joe.
Arpaio stresses that one of the benefits of these employer sanctions/identity theft operations is that they open up job opportunities for legal citizens.
For critics who insist that illegal aliens only take the jobs that Americans refuse to do, we remind them of the example in the news report below, where legal workers of all ages and backgrounds lined up for jobs at three Phoenix-area restaurants, after a major Arpaio raid removed 200 workers there:
"America's Jobs Sheriff" is on it. Don't you wish your local Sheriff worked as hard to free up jobs in your city or town? If they are not, let them know you want our laws enforced, and illegal aliens taken off the job. (You can find their contact info HERE).

We should handle this like drug busts, seize and sell all equipment and assets in the operation. Would only take one or two employers having their business sold out from under them and they would all stop hiring Illegals.

It is hard and politically dangerous for elected sheriffs to go after employers, though.

Most Credit Card companies can spot a stolen card in seconds and our bloated unconstitutional government cannot spot a bogus SS number?
Seems the government could shut down a major portion of the SS Department and pay the CC industry to do verification.
Even the top management/supervisors in these industries are many times also here illegally, as the greedy employers have to hire bilingual Spanish speaking supervisors to communicate with their low wage illegal alien workforces.
...and speaking of credit card numbers, can’t say I’d be all to comfortable handing over my plastic to someone who is here illegally and using stolen ID.
Doubt Barry’s regime will want to do anything against GNC, but as a consumer I know I plan to do (hint: it involves NEVER spending my hard earned money there).

Dead American Social Security numbers are easily attainable off the Internet. I was shocked when I first saw the site while I was doing some genealogical research. Lots of them WWII vets. I wondered at my first viewing if anyone would be unethical enough to use them. Now we know.
In the early 80's, when I fled Pittsburgh for Texas, I seem to recall there was a lot of noise about GNC also relocating its corporate HQ out of town...to perhaps Atlanta. Anybody from the Burgh remember this?
It was around the time when the unions and the Democrat machine (Flaherty, Caliguiri and company) killed the steel industry. Several longtime corporate citizens were leaving around that time like Gulf and Rockwell. Even the iconic Quaker State Oil Company left the Quaker State and followed me to Texas! :-)

Funny you should mention CC companies. Just this week I got a text alert, an email alert, AND a phone call from my bank regarding a suspicious transaction on my debit card. All of the notifications occurred literally within 5 minutes of each other and within 30 minutes of the actual transaction.
It was indeed fraudulent. The bank cancelled my card, and a new one was in my hands in 4 days.
The amount of the transaction?
$1.00.

Sheriff Joe was never governor in Arizona and while Joe was in fact Sheriff of Maricopa county, Janet Napilatano was governor twice.

For the first time, Mexican officials in Arizona admit there is hard evidence illegal immigrants are preparing to leave the state because a new employer sanctions law is making it difficult, if not impossible, for them to keep a job. Illegal immigrants are flooding the Mexican consulate in Phoenix for documents that will allow them to return to Mexico to enroll their children in school, the consul to Arizona, Carlos Flores Vizcarra, told FOX News. They are also requesting a document called “menaje de casa,” which allows illegal immigrant families living in the U.S. to cross into Mexico without paying a tax on their furniture and personal belongings. Vizcarra said 94 families asked the embassy for students transfer documents last month, compared to only three last year. He said several thousand immigrants asked for the tax document. In a separate interview, Edmundo Hidalgo of the non-profit immigrant support group Chicanos Por La Causa, said 30,000 illegal immigrants said in a survey last week that they planned to leave Arizona sometime before March 1, when the state’s tough new employer sanctions law goes into effect.
Under the law, employers can lose their business licenses if they hire undocumented workers. Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has set up a hotline for citizens to report on employers who hire illegals. He has said enforcement will begin when the law goes into effect. Many deputies have also been given arrest authority by Customs and Border Protection to enforce federal immigration law. So in the course of a traffic stop, illegal immigrants without a driver’s license could ultimately face deportation. These factors, combined with a slowing economy, are forcing many undocumented workers to consider leaving Arizona. According to a study last year, 12 percent of Arizona’s workforce is in the U.S. illegally,

Hell I don’t excuse it, I deplore it. We have 254 counties in Texas, each with a sheriff. I have NO DOUBT that more than a handful of counties would like to do the same as Joe - but they know that, unlike Jan Brewer, our governor will probably look them (the Sheriffs) up if they try.
Otherwise, it would have already been tried.
(1) The "Birth Certificate Copy" exhibited on the WH website is NOT what Obama's lawyer received from the State of Hawaii.
(2) The Selective Service registration submitted by Obama is fraudulent
(3) The Social Security identification used by Obama is fraudulent
Unfortunately, Joe is a Sheriff. He can only legally bring his evidence to those officials whom the state constitution places over him. They choose to ignore the evidence; to do nothing.
On the federal level, it is Holder himself who may choose to act, or not act, upon evidence. Thus, there will be no justice. The United States of America is in the midst of an anti-constitutional coup that so far, has been successful.
