These are the kind of UAVs that the police will use. These are the 30,000 the FAA intends to license to fly in national airspace. There is no way any of these can carry any kind of ordinance. Small cameras yes.
And where in VFR airspace will they be? And does this not potentially put a crimp in an already sick Gen_Av industry?

That is the stated reason the FAA has been dragging its heels in allowing UAV flight. In a word, UAV's don't have a pilot on board so they can't "see and avoid" other airplanes and UAVs. (That requirement is how the FAA gets off the liability hook when two planes collide.)

However, we are going to solve the "see and avoid" challenge. And when we do, all air travel will be safer, sometimes much safer. Think US Air Flight 1592. Airliners will no longer be brought down by Canadian Geese strikes and collisions with private aircraft when landing (Think PSA in San Diego back in 1978).

So not only will "Drones" be used in a ton of commercial applications, their technology will make all flying much safer and easier. In fact, the technology may do much to significantly revive the General Aviation industry.

Obviously, however, the right of privacy and the right to be free from unreasonable searches must be respected. And the industry is well on the way to comprehensively addressing those concerns.

I've been very happy with my purchases from them. I just hate that they are Chicom though.

People don’t quit laughing because the get old, they get old because they quit laughing... then they die. Some folks think they are alive just because their heart is beating.... no thanks.

My neighbor and I have been good friends and lived on this mountain for over 30 years.

We play and playing is fun.

Thanks for being concerned, but I will eventually buy a way to attack him and I WILL bomb him.

You see, I have priors. The day before graduating from the 8th grade, I bombed a “Nun Cluster” (that’s about 6 nuns), from the second story of my Catholic school.

Maybe those safety helmets (habits) they used to wear saved their lives, but I got ‘em wet and everyone loved it. I never got caught, but I strongly suspect that if I ever make it to Heaven, Sister Edward Mary will be twisting my ear off.

Anyway, I’ll roll the dice, cheat death and water ballon bomb my neighbor... worse, I am going to tell him it was your idea.

Cheers... now smile.
