stunning news.

I didn’t think Mitt had the balls to do this. I must give him credit because he picked a guy that will outshine him and steal the show.

A good way to shut down Ryan’s austere budget plans is to make him vice-president - then, he’s out of the loop. Sure, Romney would do that.

P.S. - relaxation of rules on student loan debt will bring over many middle class voters who worry about their kids. Simple $$ for votes.

I'm not asking who you will vote for nor if you will vote. Unfortunately either Romney or Obama will be the next president of the USA. It can't be neither. Who do you prefer it be?

Paul Ryan is probably the best choice I could think of. I hope we can replace the man in the House. He did very well there.

Here’s a heads up video. Nothing major but Dick Morris went through the possible things (scandals and such) that the dems will try to bring up with the list of VPs.

Paul Ryan is mentioned. Not for anything major but worth a listen so we will be prepared. Dick Morris called it all just sillyness but worth knowing about. Marco Rubio seemed to have more of a scandal problem.

You’re a fool.

Paul’s passionate and knows his stuff better than anyone. This will bring Medicare to the front so be prepared for more mega puking slime

VPs make little difference in the election, although Wis is important He will be able to bring congress along from his VP chair He’ll need to attack the dems vociferously, as opposed to wonkishly

I miss Sarah.

Just the opposite. Romney will put the economy and budget into Ryan’s portfolio.

I think even Gus Hall would have done less damage in 2 terms than Obama has done in one year.

Damned good choice. Ryan is solid conservative and brilliant.

Really brilliant, not like Obama.

An excellent Conservative pick.

Social and Economic.

His expertise on the Budget, and his knowledge of all of the inner working of SS, Medicare, ObamaCrap...will be a huge asset to Romney.

Love this pick, so glad he picked a conservative with substance and not that milquetoast Pawlenty.

“Who do you prefer it be?”

That's the same as asking what do you prefer brain cancer or lung cancer.

If conservatives want to eliminate the cancer infecting both parties they need to stop electing the lesser of two evils.

Sadly yes. The biggest problem will be the young cattle who will think - "F"-it..they didn't take care of the debt - why should we?

Consider this everybody...

The Democrats tried to make Paul Ryan the poster child of the 2010 election. He was gonna push granny over the cliff and starve children. How well did that work out for them?

Huge mistake.... HUGE.... if this is true.... I’m sure Axelrod, Jarrett and the rest are ecstatic. Romney is an idiot of he picks Ryan, but it wouldn’t surprise me. I don’t think he wants to win or has any intention of even trying.

If the DUmmies are happy, Ryan is a horrible choice. The one they feared was Rubio and that is who he should have picked. Now we have boring and boring.

Well, here’s what the DUmmies think. It would be hilarious if tomorrow he named Rubio. They would all need to change their diapers.
