Remembering Brian Terry on His 42nd Birthday

Today would be Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry's 42nd birthday. Terry was shot in killed in the Arizona desert on December 15, 2010. Two guns left at his murder scene traced back to Operation Fast and Furious. More than two years later, the family still doesn't have many answers and the Department of Justice coverup of the operation is worse than ever. But despite this fact, just search for justice and closure is ongoing. Brian Terry will never be forgotten.

Statement from the Terry family:

While Brian Terry’s family marks his birthday, they continue to press for answers in the probe of the failed gun trafficking investigation known as Operation Fast and Furious. They also continue to call for the release of related documents and emails sought by Congressional investigators that the U.S. Justice Department refuses to disclose.

Operation Fast and Furious was a flawed gun trafficking investigation conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in Phoenix, AZ and overseen by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona. Weapons involved in that investigation have been used in numerous acts of violence directed against police and rival drug cartels in Mexico. Two Fast and Furious weapons carried by the men that killed Brian Terry were subsequently found at the scene of his murder.

Robert Heyer, Chairman of the Brian Terry Foundation and cousin to Brian Terry, said; “the Terry family continues to seek answers surrounding this flawed investigation as we remember Brian on what would have been his 42nd birthday. We call upon the Attorney General to reconsider and direct the U.S. Department of Justice to release the documents sought by Congressional investigators before another birthday passes. We pray that ATF and DOJ have learned from this tragedy, and that no other U.S. Border Patrol agent will be put in harm’s way because of this flawed investigation.”

The Terry family has recently started the Brian Terry Foundation to honor Brian’s memory and to create a living legacy in his name. The Foundation will host its first annual Brian Terry Foundation benefit dinner on September 17th, 2012 at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa in Tucson, AZ. The dinner is open to the public and further details can be found on the foundation’s website at http://honorbrianterry.com/events.

We went to the Oklahoma State University bowl game in January and the family of Brian Terry was brought out during half time and I guess you could say they were honored, but gee it seems like we should be doing SO MUCH MORE! Why aren’t Obama and Holder in PRISON already.

Why were the murder weapons left at the scene?
Who’s name is on the ATF Form 4473 recording the original purchase?
Prints or DNA evidence at the scene tied to anyone?

Brian should be alive and celebrating his birthday with family and friends.

My thoughts are with his family on this day.

Never Forgotten!

May Brian’s Death not be in Vain!!.... I will not forget him!! I feel for his family trying to cope with his death.

I think the guns were left at the scene to prove that weapons are coming from US!!

This was a “set-up” by Obama Administration to give them an excuse for stricter “Gun Control” & eventually take away our” Right to Bear Arms”

I feel Terry’s Death was a direct result of Obama & his handlers trying to make a political change to our Laws!!! Terry’s Blood is on Obama’s hands!!

May God Bless Terry’s family!!
