I’ve been doing some opposition research, and we could be in deep doo doo. Did you know that those Oscar Meyer Weinermobiles have quite a felony record ?
It’s been ticketed in Arizona (for having a stolen license plate, YUMMY), Chicago (for parking), and Texas ( for speeding), destroyed a house deck in Paul Ryan’s home state of all places, caused a minor injury to a 7yr. old child, and was picketed by the Outdoor Circle in Hawaii, as it violated its billboard ordinance.
There are still 8 of these 27foot long 11 foot high Weinermobile behemoths riding around the 57 states probably creating more havoc. PETA will soon be making them public enemy #1 much to the relief of SUV’s everywhere.
And does one really want “Oh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer weiner” as the campaign theme song?

Sounds like he will be a good choice, I would like to see him ‘set the example’ and resign his seat so he could say ‘he put the election ahead of his seat etc.
I always figured when People like Edwards, Kerry, Gore, McCain, even Palin, don’t step down they are kind of admitting they aren’t going to win.
Bad as Bob Dole was/is he at least resigned his seat to run.
On the ‘fun’ side I would like to have seen either Jindal or Rubio get the nod so we could see what the Libs would come up with in regards to the Constitutionality of their run.
Don’t forget what the BO ‘machine’ tried to do to McCain because he was born in the CZ despite the fact that his father was stationed there.

I believe “noodlin” catfish was invented in Mississippi. It was reported in the journal kept by a member of Hernando DeSoto’s expedition that the Chickasaw indians would tie there breechcloth around their forearm get in the river and feel around the bank and logs and that a catfish would swallow their forearm and clamp his teeth on the breechcloth and they would pull him out.
We saw a PBS documentary on redneck noodlers. They would wade out into a muddy river, wade along the bank, stick their hands in the ledges on the sides of the river, find a big slick fish, hope it was a big old catfish, wrestle it (some of them are HUGE fish), tire it out, pull it out where they could see they hadn’t really been wrestling a big old snake; then they had supper. - Some of them were just addicted to noodling. - One guy had lost some fingers to noodling; stayed scratched and bruised up all the time.
