Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence Saturday night after allegedly head-butting his wife in front of their house.

Johnson was arrested after police arrived on the scene and found Evelyn Lozada with lacerations on her forehead. He told police the two of them had accidentally bumped heads.

According to police, Lozada confronted her husband after finding a receipt for condoms, which started a "heated argument."

I’m taking a cynical approach by doing some deductive reasoning. By all accounts (from various sports writers) Chad Johnson never had trouble with the law during his career. All of the sudden he made a remark from the show hard knocks that he is going to get arrested.
Let me add this. His “fake show” wife is one of the “stars” from basketball wives. Both is going to have a “fake show” debuting 19 September on VH1. So this whole thing just reeks of publicity. This whole genre really stinks. There is nothing these fools will exploit/make a mockery of for ratings. The institution of marriage took a beating (Thanks to the daughter of OJ Simpson’s lawyer. Know the name, won’t say it), and now domestic violence.
Watch, the charges will be dropped. This will become a plot line. There is no line that will not be crossed. As long as they have lobotomized patients watching, they’ll do more things that defies common sense.
