The American Independent Party of California nominates Tom Hoefling for President
Tom Hoefling for President 2012 ^ | August 11, 2012

Posted on 08/11/2012 9:24:42 PM PDT by EternalVigilance

The American Independent Party of California, in convention, nominated me today for the office of President of the United States. This gives us the 2012 presidential ballot line.

My thanks to all who participated in the process, and to presidential candidates Wiley Drake and Virgil Goode, both of whom were present and who graciously released their delegates in order to make the final vote a unanimous one.

We'll be commenting extensively in the days ahead on the events of today and the important ramifications of this nomination.

It's time for pro-life, pro-liberty, pro-Constitution Reagan conservatives to once again have representation in California.

Let's get it done!

For Life, Liberty, and the Constitution,

Tom Hoefling

If you're a citizen of California, you will now have a FReeper, and an actual pro-life, pro-liberty, pro-Constitution Reagan conservative to vote FOR.

I’m not voting for Goode but I think the AIP was foolish not to co-nominate him. Why anyone would want to be on just 1 state ballot and operate a smaller counterpart to the Constitution party is beyond me.

This gives us the 2012 presidential ballot line.

Why can't good people realize what horrible damage a third party spoiler does?

(Hint, ask Ross Perot)

Absolutely NOTHING good can come of this self-serving kamakaze gift to Obama.

NO THIRD PARTY SPOILERS!.

No. I’ll be directly on five state ballots, which put together represent more than 20% of the electors. Plus, I’ll be a qualified write in candidate in most other states.

All told, if everyone does their job, voters representing better than 90% of the electors should be able to cast a ballot for me if they see fit.

I’m happy with that.

Having a third party in very few states is ludicrous! Taking conservative votes away for a nominee that could never win is like giving votes to the usurper. What are these people thinking?

Romney can’t win California. Everybody knows it.

So, someone might as well take a run at Obama. Might as well be me.

Take the blinders off and try to think outside the box once in a while.

EternalVigilance, I didn’t realize it was you!

Why didn’t you get your candidacy out sooner and in all states? I’m perplexed!

Because too many conservatives have been too busy chasing false flags.

They are thinking Romney is as socialist as Obama and it might be even worse to elect him cause he could harm the party from the inside while doing little to no good.

Even as a HARSH critic of our last RINO leader Geo Bush 2 I have to strongly disagree with them, Osama must go. If Scalia or Thomas should incur some misfortune and Osama is still President we would be really screwed. Not to mention it’s 100% Osamacare is law and goes into effect. Many people don’t think Romney and Boehner want to repeal it but I’d take any chance higher than zero.

Good luck and every chance you get ram home the principles of the conservative message. I hope you can get some air time to go head to head with B.O. and point out the clear differences between the two ideologies and show how the left so far has been a road to destruction and not economic freedom.

Great news, Tom. Glad I was able to stop by tonight.

It’s like a snowball rolling down a steep, slick hill, gathering momentum.

Ross, is this you?

Seriously, YOU know and WE know you don't have a snowball's chance in hell...except to give the election to obama.

Ross Perot secured a lucrative gov’t loan after he delivered the election to Clinton - who won only for 47% of the vote.

Perot knew he couldn't win, at least in the election - but he sure won a bundle of ‘pay off’

You got a gig going? No REAL Conservative, TEa Party, American loving person would play the part of spoiler for the Sociallists.

do you need attention that much? Or is there a pay out lined up

No. I’m simply a conservative whose conscience won’t allow me to support a man who has spent his entire adult life helping destroy everything I believe in.

I’m sorry that concept seems foreign to you.

Exactly.

If you felt you were the better choice for candidate, then why didn't you get into the fight and duke it out like the rest of them? Seems pretty spleeny to wait 'til the last minute and ride in on a high horse, skipping all the hard work.

You're like a chicken that played on the sidelines until the Little Red Hen had sowed, tended, gathered, ground and made the bread - now it's ready to go in the oven and you jump in for the whole loaf.

Flame away, freepers. Just because he's a freeper of old, doens' make this right.

Puts me in mind of the old Russian sleepers that would live among us, like ordinary Americans, for years - until they got their assignment.
