Paul Ryan Changes Everything
www.brayincandy.com ^ | 8/11/12 | bray

Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his Work to this very day, and I, too, am Working.” John 5:17

Celebration time come on! We have one of our own on the ticket which you must give Romney a lot of credit for doing. Paul Ryan is a Tea Party guy who is willing to take on the Turd Rail of politics and tell the truth about Social Security and Medicare. This is Mitt Romney taking the battle straight to the heart of the battle with no fear of the consequences. For someone who has been labeled Wimp Romney for not responding to the vicious attacks by the Chicago Machine he has forced the debate right on the last place they wanted it to be, the economy. The selection of Ryan highlights two weaknesses of the Ocommie campaign, his lack of economic understanding and BoBo Biden.

Last week Obama was having a big problem raising campaign cash so they ordered the media to cook some phony poll numbers to bring the donors back. It was beginning to work with last week’s batch of cooked numbers which were heavily Dem as well as voters rather than likely which gave cover for the Obamamedia to make exaggerated claims of an Obama surge. Of course there is no Tea Party or outrage by Republicans over how they have been treated by the coalition, no it’s 2008 all over again for PravdABDNC. They will continue to spin this pick as a huge mistake when they all know it was a bold and courageous choice changing the entire direction of this election.

Paul Ryan is an even better pick than Palin in a number of areas, first and foremost is he already understands the Stone Age Press hates him and has faced them numerous times. He knows all of the questions they will be asking and how to respond to them again and again until the American people understand him. The destruction of Medicare is a fraud and he will be able to come forward and explain it was already nearly bankrupt and without changes has no chance of surviving. It is extreme need of repair which is never done thanks to the soap boxing and vilifying done by the protectors of the socialist status quo. Ryan’s plan which was co-sponsored by Oregon Socialist Ron Wyden turns Medicare over to the state to manage and oversee through block grants. It certainly isn’t where it needs to go for complete market forces providing lower costs and better plans but is better than the District of Corruption handling it.

Once he explains it with the proper amount of education for the brainwashed socialists this could become an absolute winner. Ryan is by far the most articulate Conservative in and out of DC for the Tea Party. People know there is something wrong with all this gummit in their lives yet they have no idea how to remove it. The task seems too large but he can break it down to levels the voters can understand and underline it with DeathCare horror stories to remind them why they desperately need a change. If Medicare was not a failed program they would explain how ObamaCare will be just like it only bigger. After all wasn’t America supposed to be loving it by now as much as the commiemedia does?

So now we have a very powerful team of a person who knows economics and Paul Ryan who understands the District of Corruption and how to fight it. He knows the Federal budget better than anybody in the town and is basically the Newt Gingrich of our era. He has been moved from the frustration of being under the thumb of Speaker Bonehead and when they are elected will be the second most powerful man in the Country promoting his plan to make the gummit smaller and less obtrusive. While Romney can be focused on the energy production side of the economy Ryan can be taking an axe to waste and graft in the budget. He can eliminate obvious pork like PBS, Obamacare and Green energy subsidies to begin, then later go after the waste in each and every department or elimination of those like Education, Labor and the EPA. With a mandate from the people we could see a complete bulldozing of many of those bureaus whose only goal is destroying American success.

This is shaping up to be a landslide of historic proportions. Even for those of us who could not stand the Romney nomination he not only made a great executive choice he broke tradition and chose before the convention. This shows bold and smart leadership as he went with the most qualified rather than the one who would get the most electoral votes. He didn’t pander to a certain minority group or State which was the advice of most political managers. Rather than taking the prudent or political pick he went with the most qualified person in the country to guide us past the Obama Trainwreck. This speaks very well of Romney as someone who is not afraid to surround himself with people who have skills he has or are more charismatic than he is. This decision bodes well for his Presidency and cabinet showing he has the fortitude to surround himself with those who will put America first which is a good sign for most Conservative’s last choice. He is Wimp Romney no more.

Pray for America

“This decision bodes well for his Presidency and cabinet showing he has the fortitude to surround himself with those who will put America first which is a good sign for most Conservative’s last choice. He is Wimp Romney no more.”

Like Keith Madden, one of his top advisers, who in 2008 was sabotaging Sarah Palin and McCain on the eve of the election which seated Obama. Or how about Robert Kagan, the Islamist Loving SOB, whose book ‘The World America Made’ is a big hit in the administration and was apparently recommended by Barack Obama himself. It rambles something about a world of democratic Islam that we ought to embrace. And he rebuked Glenn Beck on Fox News for saying that the revolution in Egypt would lead to a radical Islamist coming to power. Now we know why the Muslim Brotherhood thing “isn’t a part of [Romney’s] campaign.” Or how about the scumbags who support ObamaCare/RomneyCare, or took the time to say that Mittens still supports gay leaders in the boy scouts, and on and on and on.

There is nothing more odious than to mention God, the scripture or even prayer around something that also mentions Mitt Romney.

But....we are trying to save our country from socialists, communists, nazi’s and facists, namely Obama and the entire Democrat “treason” Party.

Sorry, I can’t help but to correct outrageous claims that lie about the true nature of Mitt Romney. I know you would like it if we all just shut up and followed the leader like lemmings, but I’m not going to sit by as people make untrue claims (selling their souls) for politics. Self-delusion is man’s chiefest activity.

Sorry bub but Romney/Ryan is an easy choice over Obama. Go write in Mickey Mouse if it makes you feel better. Romney is too liberal for me but he is still 10 times better than Obama. I hope Romney wins then brings in his own Mormon mafia to boot out Obama’s entrenched Marxist mafia.

I’ll take Mormons over Marxists any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Romney can make DC into a replica of Salt Lake City for all I care. Just so long as he wins, boots Obama from the White House

How is a vote for someone else a vote for Obama? My vote never belonged to Romney; it never did. So you cannot even argue that mine is one less for him. To put it another way: if I do not vote for Romney it equals a vote for Obama, therefor not voting for Obama equals a vote for Romney. At worst, it is a wash.

Interesting posting history you have. 90% attacking Romney since you signed up, 10% attacking something else, 0% talking about anything else (which includes jokes on caption threads, pet threads, food threads, movie threads, etc.)

You seem to have been given the assignment to attack Romney in order to sow doubt in the minds of readers here. If you were legitimate about your feelings about Romney, you'd have signed up a lot earlier in order to engage in the debate during the primaries.

Good luck with your psyops. It won't work here.

Logic and reason, when discussing Romney on FR is strictly verboten.

The fanatic, irrational Romney haters, will descend upon and foul your nest.

Didn't you know he's a Mormon, a marxist, a rino, and he is the moral equivalent of obama.

I just donated my standard 20.12 to Romney-Ryan hoping that they will dismember obama's four years of socialism.

Any particular reason? Who is “someone else?” Putting that out there with no reason, and in addition not revealing your preference, makes you sound like a liberal troll.

I am voting against Zippy in November. That means a vote FOR Romney/Ryan - with the emphasis on the Ryan. (I don’t hate Romney. I just think he is too far left and not our best choice. If I go to a restaurant and my favorite dish is not on the menu, I pick what I like best among the choices. I don’t order my least favorite thing or let someone else choose for me.) Unless he picked Soros as a running mate, Romney would have my vote.

Romney was not my first choice, but I think Ryan was a great pick for VP. A bold move. An intelligent choice. It greatly increases my respect for Romney and my enthusiasm for the ticket.

I appreciate your positive input on the R&R Ticket.I can't wait for this campaign to begin in full force. It's a good ticket and I'm proud of it. Gracious Sarah Palin is pleased with the Ryan pick. Newt has been supportive of Romney. Any sour grapes from others must be hard to digest at the moment because of the Ryan pick. We are about to see true leadership in Mitt Romney. We are about to witness true Conservative,Paul Ryan, the future President of the United States of America in training for the next eight years. He will only be fifty years old when he steps to the next level. Now we need to elect their teams in the House, Senate, and governorships across the country. We need to reclaim America, not stroke egos.

He will tell America the truth..He is a man of high intelligence, integrity, morality, has a beautiful family, is experienced, knows the Washington D.C. culture inside and out, he has courage and empathy for those who really need help, he does not survive through lies to his people, he is eloquent, and much, much more, AND, HE IS DROP-DEAD HANDSOME!

But I can’t imagine anyone worse for America than Obama and if he gets another four years, I shudder to think what will become of America. We will get to a point of no return. I am not happy with Romney as the nominee but I will vote for him. I love America more than I dislike Romney.

Love them or hate them, one thing you have to say about the 2 guys on the R ticket is they have clean backgrounds, with the possible exception of the dog-on-the-roof thing. But otherwise, no cheating, no philandering, no drug-taking, none of that.

Let’s all demand a closer look at the Magic Negro’s background. Let’s see if there are any spots on his record. If we could just get a look at the record, please.

For me, this election is a no-brainer. We must remove Obama/Biden from the White House while simultaneously building on our Tea-Party 2010 successes in the legislatures. Lots more Tea Party/conservative candidates downticket in 2012. I say, let the momentum continue. We stopped Obama in his tracks in 2010 by taking over the House, we can obliterate Obama by taking the senate and White House in 2012.

There is a small cadre of posters on FR who are dedicated to polluting every election thread with their hateful anti-Romney screeds 24/7 (don't these people have lives outside Free Republic). It definitely gives this place a DU kind of feel.

Most of us are unhappy with Romney as nominee, including myself. Speaking for myself, I was also less than thrilled with John McCain, both Bushes and Bob Dole. I haven't had a GOP nominee I was happy about since 1984 when I was just a young man who was serving in the military and not even married yet.

Personally, I think the method of choosing a nominee is badly flawed. Why do small states like New Hampshire and Iowa have so much influence while conservative powerhouses like Texas don't even get a say (the nomination is usually decided by the time the primaries come to them)?

Maybe we can change the method by which we choose our nominees because it does not seem very conducive to choosing the most conservative nominee.

So until we change things, the fact is we have Mitt Romney at the top of the ticket. I am encouraged by the choice of Paul Ryan. I think Ryan is a "Tea Party" pick much like Sarah Palin was a Tea Party pick by McCain.

The difference this time around is that Paul Ryan is seasoned in Beltway politics and is fully prepared for what is coming his way. In other words, we don't have to worry about Ryan having a "Katie Couric" moment. In fact bubbleheads like Couric might be afraid to take on Ryan because he can run circles around them.

Not to diminish Palin, who would have made a fine VP or President, but she was definitely unprepared for the unbridled hate and undeserved ridicule that was heaped upon her by the mainstream media - who were bound and determined to get their Obama elected at any cost, even at the expense of sacrificing any journalistic integrity they ever had.

Speaking of Palin, even she is onboard with the Paul Ryan pick and that is good enough for me. I am supporting the Romney/Ryan ticket wholeheartedly and voting Tea Party conservative all the way downticket. If we don't turn this country around now and build on our 2010 successes, we probably never will.

So because you and others refuse to vote for a rino, you’re okay with Obama getting another four years? If he gets another term, he’s going in for the kill because he won’t have to worry about another election year! Obamacare will become the law of the land, our religious freedoms will continue to be taken away, our other rights will be eroded..... all because some of you can’t vote for a rino. Again, I cannot for the life of me wrap my brain around this. I cannot understand the logic of it. You might as well throw in the towel, because if what you are saying is on the minds of a majority, all is lost. What you are saying is that your principle is “I would rather allow the country to go socialist/communist than vote for another “RINO”.

Thanks for such a principled approach that throws our country down the toilet.
