Ryan a great choice. My only caveat is that Ryan should have been at the top of the ticket.

Might just throw a quick coat of paint on one of the living room walls and watch it dry. Ten times more excting than McLame.

Too bad you found out on such short notice. I bet it’s gonna be a heck of an event.

Agreed. Getting mighty tired of McCain and Debbie W-S. She is like fingernails on the blackboard.

I’ve been following Ryan for a few years. IMO he’s the real deal....articulate, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. He will drive the Rats crazy. He has the ability to speak in a very understandable way and carries a smile on his face 24/7.

Excellent analysis, bray!

I know a lot of people around here are down on Romney, and for some valid reasons. As a candidate, he was about my last pick. But as Donald Rumsfeld once famously said, "You go to war with the army you've got, not the army you wish you had!"

Romney /Ryan - whether we like it or not - is the army we've got and wishing for something more personally acceptable to many if not most here won't make it otherwise.

Romney made a terrific choice with Ryan. We can only hope if he is elected his other choices will be as wise. We know 0bama's choices won't be. It will be DeathCare for America as we are driven to circle the drain for good. With Romney, we at least will have a fighting (and peaceful?) chance to survive and may live to fight another day in our long struggle to save our country and Constitution. Even then, it will a tough, long fight and we may yet lose to the determined forces of tyranny.

The choice is really easy and stark. If wishes were horses then beggars would ride - and most of us would be riding a different horse than Romney, by choice. But the time for wishes and choices and successful beggers is over. It is time to join the fray on the side of the only available path forward that exists today...

Romney/Ryan

I wonder what Fareed Zakaria will have to say about this.

Thanks for the thread once again AB.
Another road trip for me starting in a few hours.
Looks like O’Axel is making the rounds once again. The regime is really worried about Paul Ryan exposing what they are doing. Time to send the Commie wonder bent axel out to start the spin/lies.

Which is the Number One qualification for the VP pick.

The faithful will turn out in droves with great enthusiasm. You can bet on that. Conservatives are angry and anxious to make their voices heard and they will be heard resoundingly. There is anger not only at Obama, but also at the media who has been carrying Obama's water.

The crowds will be huge-as big or bigger than Palin's-and the media will have no choice but to acknowledge it. To counter it, Obama will have to employ the rent-a-mob strategy with union members.

"I wonder what Fareed Zakaria will have to say about this.

I wonder what Fareed Zakaria will have to say about this."

You're going to have to wait a month to find out.

You're going to have to wait 4 weeks to find out.

(If you change it just a little, it doesn't count as plagerism, right?)

Bray....Brilliant analysis once again!

My thoughts exactly, albeit you put them in an intellectual overview that even a third grader could understand and follow. You have hit the most significant points here!

I am emailing this to all my friends!

CBS still has her on their website: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-501368_162-57491433/guest-lineups-for-the-sunday-news-shows/

I can only go by what’s published, although it wouldn’t surprise me they dropped the ball on their own site...

MTP has bumped the scheduled Pawlenty interview, and is doing the Ryan story instead. Looks like it will actually be informative.
