WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama's senior campaign adviser David Axelrod says the Medicare changes supported by Rep. Paul Ryan, the likely Republican vice presidential candidate, would put the popular health-care plan for the elderly in "a death spiral."
Axelrod said on CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday that Obama thinks Ryan is a friendly and intelligent man, but he disagrees with his ideas on the direction of government.

I am so tired of listening to this asshat complaining about Ryan and anyone who does not agree with his polcies on the budget. This guy cannot be that dumb to think these programs are going to roll on and one with no changes. Furthermore, I believe it was his boy, His Excellency, who recently rededicated 500 billion from Medicare to Obamacare. Seems to me he should be looking in the mirror when talking about whom is killing off Medicare.

Why do Obama and liberals get a pass, on the fact that Obamacare takes hundreds of billions out of Medicare? Obamacare and that money transfer will hasten the end of Medicare as we know it.

This morning, Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter appeared on Face The Nation, where she discussed Obamacare’s $700 billion cuts to Medicare. She touted those cuts as an “achievement”.
And this is the primary reason, IMO, why the Dems politicians have pushed for universal healthcare, aka Obamacare, since whenever. The Dem leadership will make EVERY election about healthcare- Dems want to give more and Repubs want to take it away.
