A Mosque Is Not Like a Church or a Synagogue
American Thinker ^ | August 12, 2012 | Janet Levy

The marked proliferation of mosques in the U.S. since 9/11 should raise a red flag for Americans. Recent controversies surrounding mega-mosque construction projects countrywide -- many in locations with almost no Muslims to speak of -- have grave implications for the future of these targeted communities and areas beyond.

Accelerated mosque-building -- in Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Staten Island, Brooklyn, and Ground Zero, New York; and Santa Clara and Temecula, California, to name a few -- carries significance beyond the mere construction of a collection of Muslim houses of worship. It represents yet another orchestrated effort to oust traditional American values and replace them with Islamic practices, laws, and beliefs.

Although most U.S. mosques heretofore have been built without resistance, the newly attendant controversies present speciously polarized views between, on the one hand, ostensibly welcoming, tolerant, multi-culti progressives who deny any possible radical agenda despite substantial evidence to the contrary in existing mosques and, on the other hand, so-called fearful, Islamophobic, ignorant bigots unwilling to embrace diversity. Mainstream media's predominant point of view is that any opposition to mosque-building represents a blatant unwillingness to integrate Muslims into American communities. This view disallows the possibility that such objections represent appropriate, reasoned responses to an attempt to destroy America from within and...

--snip--

It should be noted that a mosque is totally unlike a church or a synagogue, entities that serve their communities under the law of the land and are both empowered and restrained under the First Amendment of the Constitution. Under the Establishment Clause of that amendment, the government is prohibited from establishing a state religion or conferring preferential treatment on one religion over another. Although the government may not interfere with religious beliefs and opinions, the proscription of religious practices is permissible, as in the examples of polygamy and human sacrifice...

Deligitimizing Islam should be a no-brainer for the GOP. Our need for energy undermines that objective. We need to restrict importing energy to just Canada and Mexico until we become energy independent.

Islam needs to be quarantined. Islam tolerates slavery, subordinates women, persecutes homosexuality and promotes violent jihad. The left has made common cause with Islam when they have such irreconcilable differences. It makes no sense for blacks, feminists and homosexuals to be in such a de facto alliance with Islamists! It's high time for the right to exploit such obvious contradictions.

Don’t worry, Mitt Romney will put an end to all this mosque building as soon as he takes office.

What if the "religion" commands it's adherents to, Murder, take Slaves, take sex slaves, lie, steal, marry 6 year old little girls, have sex with dead wives, beat wives?

To "Respect" a "Religion", the "Religion" has to be respectable in the first place.

Ban the queeran!

Religions are voluntary.

NO ONE is forced to believe ANYthing.

ISLAM (S U B M I T ), is a religio/political form of life ... a way of thinking .. that demands adherance, under penalty of death.

There is nothing voluntary about being a muslim.

Islam is not a religion ... Islam is not a religion ... Islam is not a religion ... Islam is not a religion ... Islam is not a religion ... Islam is not a religion ... Islam is not a religion ... Islam is not a religion ...

Blacks are 2nd-class citizens in Islam.

No can of worms i can see. I look at Islam as Nazism. Even though Nazis had an element of pagan mysticism, we would never have tolerated a Nazi meeting/recruiting center here during the war because it could be considered a “religion”.
Same with Korans for prisoners, we wouldnt have given “Mein Kampf” to German POWs.

Islam must be seen as an existential threat, and must be eradicated from the earth.

Islam is not a religion. It’s a vile, sadistic and savage political ideology. You cannot negotiate with these people. The only accommodation with Islam is total surrender or death. The Koran is simply an instruction manual of how to justify horrific acts and get away with them. This is a fight to the death, winner take all.

Islam is a socio-political system disguising its self as a religion in an attempt to justify its unholy actions.

...It ain’t a religion.

The religion? Its a beard for a 7th century mercenaries dream. Kill, rape, plunder pillage, take the booty ~ have as many wives as you want, as property. It has its own laws and constitution with a goal... to supplant whatever religion that exists wherever it takes root.

Here is a example of how they operate.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IstZSgniH8

You gotta watch that... it’s own constitution... to supplant and replace.... that means it displaces the American constitution and the American way.

Freedom , rights and liberty... all products of Christain culture and philosophy is antithetical to Islam.

Its best it be recognized for what it is.

Never going to happen.

When Islam infiltrates and spreads beyond a critical level, the hosting culture begins on a death spiral. The question is, are the constitutional provisions that are currently interpreted as obligating protection to Islam, a suicide pact?

You may think Islam is not a legitimate religion. I may think Islam is not a legitimate religion. But, the moment we grant the government the power to decide what is and is not a religion worthy of First Amendment protection, we have effectively obliterated the First Amendment. No religion would be safe.

Obviously the founding fathers did not contemplate or were ignorant of the competing constitution tucked in the monster called islam .....

Cuzz what parent would give birth to a child of freedom, liberty, rights and democracy and allow it to be smothered?

The key is for us to differentiate what is a religion and what is a competing government , bent on our displacement and then guard against it. We have a military for our protection and threats can take many forms, not just externally.

Germany: Former Hitler Youth Officer: “The ideals and propaganda of Islam is identical to Nazism”

(VIDEO) Alfons Heck was influenced by the Nazi world view from an early age. He joined the Hitler Youth at the age of 10. And by the end of WW2 he was a high ranking officer of the Hitler Youth.

“I was a very intense believer in the Nazi ideology. And I know what a supreme dedication to an ideology can do. It is absolutely correct to say that if you can’t learn from the events from Nazi Germany, you will not be able to grasp the true intent of the danger of the radical muslim world today. You’re simply hiding.”

>Never going to happen..<

Did you bother to read the entire article?

>>In Muslim countries, no separation exists between mosque and state. Islamic doctrine or sharia controls all aspects of a person’s existence, from the correct way to use the toilet to permissible forms of lying, or taquiya. For Muslims, Mohammed is the perfect man, whose every example must be emulated, even though by Western Judeo-Christian standards he was a mass murderer, pedophile, rapist, torturer, and looter. Furthermore, Islamic doctrine is immutable, and any criticism of the traditions and practices of Mohammed is considered apostasy, which is punishable by death.

No free individual will exists or is allowed when it comes to practices and observances. Sharia must be strictly followed. A mosque is a symbol of this ultimate authority and serves the function of organizing every aspect of life in a Muslim community. <<
