Paul Ryan donations from a now-convicted Wis. businessman could draw fire

Democrats have wasted little time blasting Republican vice presidential pick Rep. Paul Ryan over his federal budget plan, but a more obscure part of his record could also draw attention: his relationship with a convicted Wisconsin businessman.

Ryan accepted nearly $60,000 in contributions from businessman Dennis Troha and his family, records show. Troha was later indicted on campaign finance charges over an Indian casino he sought to open. During the casino application process, Troha said, Ryan (R-Wis.) called federal regulators at his request.

Ryan was not found to have violated any laws, nor was he a target or key figure in the federal investigation, people familiar with the inquiry said. He was among more than 20 politicians of both parties who benefited from Troha’s largess. Troha was convicted of funneling illegal donations to other politicians, not Ryan, and Ryan donated Troha’s contributions to youth programs when the businessman was indicted.

Piss on the liberal Demonrats, the GOP-e members who OPPOSE Ryan, and above all the media pricks who will repeat such defamation but refuse to question the arrogant Marxist asswipe Obamugabe.

Ryan took money from Corazine? Oh, wait, Corazine hasn’t been arrested, much less convicted, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t guilty.

Such an easy template to follow: [insert Ryan deeds, acquaintances, or legislation here] could draw fire.

I just read the entire Checkers speech. Love to see Ryan do it and invite Biden to reveal his entire net worth too, item by item. Ok, well, I can dream.

Oh please! Ain’t gonna work.

Remember, it's not whether it's true or not, or what the real facts are. It's the message. Get it out there first with the "news" media (the Dems propaganda arm), and it works to get the opposition off track and the public wondering.

Considering the wrecked state of our country, thanks to Obama and his democrats, I wouldn’t care of Ryan personally robbed banks if it would help to get that dictator out of office.

Troha also gave heavily to former Governor Doyle. Doyle kept the money.

The conviction was for exceeding max donations by funneled money through family members. Money from his trucking company. Obama’s folks would call it bundling.

Ryan donated Troha’s contributions to youth programs when the businessman was indicted.

A fairly decent way to wash off any hint of taint. Unlike BO, who not only kept money from Tony Rezko, George Soros and other assorted crooks, but is now asking for more.
