Years before Paul Ryan became Mitt Romney's chiseled running mate -- he was a high school ALL-STAR ... prom king, soccer stud, student council president ... and the "biggest brown-noser" in the entire class.
The images are from Paul's yearbooks while at Joseph A. Craig High School in Janesville, Wisconsin in the late 80s -- where he played soccer, participated in the Latin club, volunteered as a nature trail guide for grade-schoolers, and was elected Junior class president.

And if all that wasn't enough to predict a bright future in politics -- Paul was also voted the "biggest brown-noser" in his class. He graduated in 1988.
Paul Ryan high school prom photo. Smart, good-looking, expert ass-kisser -- sounds like Vice-Presidential material alright.
We know more about Paul Ryan in 48 hours than we do about bigears in 4 years.
i alerted the mods to try to fix the title..
Yikes, I feel old seeing a VP pick who’s from the class of 88.
If your background is OK, you don’t try to hide things.
What, no cite?
I hear he once pulled a little girl’s pigtails in 3rd grade too!
From the video showing him hand obamas ass to him on obamacare, I didn’t see any brown-nosing there, at all.
The accusations of calling some an ass-kisser, usually comes from the wallflower duds who didn’t do anything worthy of any attention.
...and pulled a tag from a mattress when he was 9. That`s prohibited by law, you know.
You? I already feel old since I am older (technically) than the British PM and now the next VPOTUS.
Then there was the time he stepped on a crack, and broke his mother’s back.
Funny. “Brown-noser” is what some of the kids in my HS called me for being really interested in school. They send me resumes from time to time, but never just notes to say hi.
Wow what a hunk
Fabulous pics! I live here. He’s an eagle scout to boot. He’s squeaky clean and brilliant. He has a good looking family.
Have you heard the story of him being vetted for the VP position?
Way back in late May, during the Scott Walker recall, Romney was here and met Ryan. They clicked while stumping the state for Walker.
August 3: Ryan had to meet with Romney’s vetting chief. We had the Sikh temple shooting on the 5th.
Ryan mentioned to the press, he was taking his family on a vacation, camping in Colorado. But, the funeral was 10th, Friday, the day the announcement was supposed to be made.
August 10: Ryan was at the service, made a short speech, his family was preparing to leave for Colorado. They packed up the van and left while Ryan was at the service.
Ryans’ driver drove him home, he waved to the press as he entered the home, walked out the back, crossed the woods, meet the driver a block or so away and flew back for the announcement.
I think the biggest clue was the USS Wisconsin.
Paul Ryan is an all American guy.
Gotta LOVE him.
This is an excellent pick. Paul Ryan wouldn’t take this position if he felt Romney wasn’t on board.
Thanks for posting these photos.
“Brown noser” coming from Harvey Levin at TMZ?!
He is the REAL brown noser...
Some fast paparazzi got this shot of TMZ’s slimeball producer and star Harvey Levin with his boyfriend Andy Mauer. Is it just us or is Andy a little embarrassed to be with Harvey? This photo was taken at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Malibu just after the “you don’t need that cream in your coffee” spat from our earlier post. Good job papping the sultan of sleeze! If you want to contact him at home: 1136 N Doheny Drive, Hollywood, Ca., 90069, he and Andy bought the place together back in 2007
Funny, where are Obama’s HS yearbook pics?
Where are his college transcripts?
Was he even there?.......
