Bartlett misses that Paul Ryan has enlivened the Republican and conservative base by choosing an energetic candidate that is demonstrably an economic conservative and a family man. Any other type of candidate, like an overly vocal social conservative, would enliven the votes of Democrats. Likewise, an obvious pandering to minorities like a Mexican or Black, would likely depress votes of Republicans who would question their economic credentials or demographic intents.
The bad economy and Obama’s failures are Obama’s weak spot.
It should be like this on EVERY issue. The socialists have no answers that actually work.
There’s nothing wrong with this analysis. Who would expect Romney would go insane and pick someone based on personal chemistry instead of a strategic plot to win the election?
