Vice President Joe Biden told an audience in Danville, Va., that Mitt Romneys policies as president will put them back in chains. He said in the first 100 days hes going to let the big banks write their own rules, Biden said on Romneys economic policy. Unchain Wall Street! Theyre going to put yall back in chains. Earlier in his speech, he said that Wall Street had gone from being the most efficient allocator of capital in the world to a casino.
Short straw at campaign headquarters has to defend this.
Happy Hour must be coming early in the day for Joe at the thought of having to debate Ryan!
It isn’t bad enough for the entire world to know that Joe is a complete Idiot, he just has to keep proving it.
Too late Biden, you just did.
How incredibly evil these people are, how blatant the lies.
Awesome graphic!
Biden is certifiable or he has no shame, or both.
‘Earlier in his speech, he said that Wall Street had gone from being the most efficient allocator of capital in the world to a casino.’
He is largely right about that part.
Don’t he feel no ways Tahrd neither?
Is he trying to set up his exit from the campaign?
“Back in chains.” He must have been speaking to a predominantly black audience. Blatant racism. Biden pulls the race card.
Obama and Biden in chains; I could get used to that.
Now that's racist, but the "news" media won't call Biden on it (only if he was a Repub).
Absolutely...just listen to his “accent” while he’s saying it.
It’s a disgusting thing to witness.
Outstanding Graphic!
I really do believe this over the top rhetoric is going to fall flat. The fact that they believe it doesn’t make it persuasive.
Remember how Bill Clinton campaigned? He didn’t do #$*@ like this. He would say things like, “I’m for business. I want them to succeed. But if you have succeeded, and you are in the top 1%, I will raise your taxes. But if you are in the bottom 99% I am going to give you a tax cut.”
In terms of saying that Republicans are going to slash and burn, he would say, “I’m not for big government, but I’m not going to balance the budget at the expense of health care, education and the environment.”
Those were lefty-inspired lines, for sure, but they were also effective in manipulating “independent” voters.
But this over-the-topness of “putting you in chains” will only work for the Democrat base, as they are the only ones stupid enough to believe it. Just like they are the only ones stupid enough (and lazy enough, and unsuccessful enough) to believe “you didn’t build that”.
I think (hope and believe) that this hysterical rhetoric which is red meat to the base but alienating to the indy voter is a sign of Democrat desperation ...and the coming GOP tsunami.
He said in the first 100 days hes going to let the big banks write their own rules, Biden said on Romneys economic policy.
Day 1, Bank Rule #1: All libtard bank accounts will be confiscated and given to the Treasury Department as an initial repayment for 50 years of economic harm to the U.S. tax payers.
Day 1, Bank Rule #2: All subsequent libtard deposits will also be confiscated in perpetuity.
Never trust a guy from northeastern Pennsylvania who uses “y’all.” It’s not part of the lexicon. Neither is it part of the Delaware or DC lexicon.
I don’t know which is sillier (1) Biden saying “y’all” or (2) the chains stuff.
Ah yes, Joe Plugs Biden....the gift that keeps on giving. Wow...imagine if Palin had said that?
Biden’s the second mainstream African American who is clean and articulate and bright, so he can say things like this.
He is certifiable. I have long believed that Biden has frontal lobe damage from his brain aneurysm. If fact, I think he actually had two aneurysms, but only one burst.
I have never looked into where the aneurysms were located, but there is little doubt that he had to sustain some brain damage. I have never heard of anyone that had an aneurysm burst come out of it 100 percent.
You couple that with the mental disease of being a liberal, and that makes him Bat Sh** crazy.
Are we white people allowed to mention chains? I wonder if the Rev. Al has a comment on “chains” or Jessie? How dare Joe be so insensitive.
If I didn’t know better, I’d think Biden’s been told to say things so ignorant and stupid that he’d have to be removed from the ticket and replaced with.......HILLARY CLINTON! They can’t let Plugs debate Ryan, can they?
THAT debate will be something for the history books.
Ryan vs Biden... ha!! Sort of like beating your 90 year old gramps at ice hockey!
He's a tahrd alright....
Imagine if Ryan had said “We are going to cut entitlements that atre putting Americans of African Descent into the chains of dependency”
They would have burned him like a Witch in the middle ages.
He also told a black audience “you know what the DOJ will look like if they’re elected” meaning white. Pure racism. Media asleep on the job.
LOL.
Cheney-Edwards was brutal. This one could be worse,of course,
good for our side.
Freedom is slavery?
They’re flailing ... just blindly swinging trying to land a blow. It happens everytime they’re panicked, and its gone into overdrive since Saturday.
This is a good thing. They’re backed into a corner ... poor record, low enthusiasm, lackluster fundraising, no crowds, and looking across the aisle to see the train coming down the tracks.
SnakeDoc
Ryan would beat Biden like a rented redheaded step mule.
Joe must not have been speaking to a “clean and articulate” crowd.
Please use that term with respect...(BatS)
True he, Biden, has sh*t for brains. It has burst into his mouth.
SHEESH!
BatGuano
It brings to mind John Kerry's "Can I git me a huntin' license here?" comment.
Romney may put us all in chains but at least he won’t eat our dogs.
Is it 1984 yet?
I must have missed Romney’s “Repeal and Replace the Emancipation Proclamation” speech...

I can’t WAIT for the VP debate!
Now, it is the Obama-Biden team of "redistributionists" of other people's hard-earned dollars who have the audacity to accuse the other side of putting citizens in "chains."
The Obama-Biden philosophy is diametrically opposed to the view America's Founders expressed in the Declaration of Independence from just such a coercive government power. And the Founders' understanding of human nature and "the tendency to abuse power" guided their proceedings in framing a written Constitution to put "chains" on their representatives in government, including the President.
The wisdom of the Founders, as expressed in the Constitution for self-government they devised and implemented, was their understanding of human nature and their recognition that some imperfect persons, elected or appointed to positions of power over other imperfect persons' lives, would not somehow make better decisions than those persons would make for themselves.
The Far Left in 21st Century America, with all the centuries of recorded history available to them, and with all available psychological studies of human behavior, nevertheless, operate with this "fantastical" theory that the opposite is true.
Is it deliberate, or is it total ignorance and lack of the gift of reason?
See Dr. George Carey's essay on the "Founding Fathers' Views of Human Nature" here
". . . it would be a dangerous delusion were a confidence in the men of our choice to silence our fears for the safety for our rights. . . it is jealousy and not confidence which prescribes limited Constitutions to bind down those whom we are obliged to trust with power: that our Constitution has accordingly fixed the limits to which and no further our confidence may go. . . . In questions of power then let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution."- Thomas Jefferson
And, here excerpted words from President Andrew Jackson's Proclamation of December 10, 1832:
"We have received it [the Constitution] as the work of the assembled wisdom of the nation. We have trusted to it as to the sheet anchor of our safety in the stormy times of conflict with a foreign or domestic foe. We have looked to it with sacred awe as the palladium of our liberties, and with all the solemnities of religion have pledged to each other our lives and fortunes here and our hopes of happiness hereafter in its defense and support. Were we mistaken, my countrymen, in attaching this importance to the Constitution . . .? No. We were not mistaken. The letter of this great instrument is free from this radical fault. . . . No, we did not err! . . . The sages . . . have given us a practical and, as they hoped, a permanent* Constitutional compact. . . . The Constitution is still the object of our reverence, the bond of our Union, our defense in danger, the source of our prosperity in peace: it shall descend, as we have received it, uncorrupted by sophistical construction, to our posterity. . . ."
*Underlining added for emphasis
And, it was Thomas Jefferson who used another metaphor with reference to the Constitution when he indicated that "the People" must "bind them (government) by the chains of the Constitution." In another instance, he declared: "It was intended to lace them up straitly within the enumerated powers. . . ."
Biden doesn’t know what he means until after he says it, and then it isn’t what he means to say. Such is the thought scape of an idiot.
Typical liberal claptrap.
