DENVER—The rigors of the campaign trail have not kept Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan from his intense workout regimen, a daily tradition he observes religiously in the wee hours of the morning.

Ryan was spotted Tuesday in the gym of the Renaissance Denver Hotel working out to a P90X video on his iPad.

Very Impressive. Very few could keep up with him.

Excellent. P90X is a nice program.

Between the Olympics and now seeing Ryan keep up with his workouts on this schedule, I am getting more motivated to get off my butt and get back on the p90x program. If he can do it, surely I can.

I hear that, I made it 3 weeks into Phase 2 and lost 12-lb’s and firmed up quite a bit.. Then Christmas hit, and I fell apart. Have had 3 or 4 false start this year where only got 3-4 weeks into Phase 1 then fall apart again after vacations or tough work weeks (Waaaah!). Gotta get back into it and stay with it for crying out loud!

Thanks for posting pics. If there are rules on FR about posting pictures when discussing attractive women, I think a rule that hot pictures of Paul Ryan should be posted when discussing him! 8-)

All Ryan has to do is take his shirt off and this election is over.

I don’t do p90X; I have my own treadmill/bowflex program. I’m 52 and weigh 158, only 5 pounds more than I did when I was 21 (and I was in great shape when I was 21).

It’s not what regimen you use, as long as you use one that works for you, and you work it regularly.

Go back to it, my friend.

Enough for now, got to go work out.

Surely the liberals will find something to criticize Ryan about working out with P90X.

How about this: Paul Ryan needs to work out a lot, he needs his strength to throw all those old people off the cliff.

Look, Paul Ryan did not build that body on his own....it was the guy that spun the CD at the factory and the guy that built the machine that spun the CD and the guy that built the building that machine is in that spun that CD. He shouldn’t kid himself...he is not responsible.

My daughter (in one of her frisky moods) bought Insanity and couldn’t get more than a week in without quitting (twice). I did the whole 60 days, only lost a pound and a quarter but felt better. THEN she did it and lost 14 pounds. Good program, same folks as P90X.

I’m back P90x as soon as my shoulder heals from rotation cuff surgery.

Being in shape aerobically and anerobically make it easy to take on the day and just about any who dare challenge you.

P90X is a fantastic program. I did it 3 times a few years back and was all set to do Insanity when I hurt my back. Took me 2.5 years to be able to work out again. P90X absolutely works though. No way it can’t work. great program.

Too funny ...this might go over well, interestingly, with the under 35 crowd who love to constantly work out.

My SIL has P90X.
It is one of the few infomercials that I would consider to be legit.

But it’s sort of like saying “if you run a few marathons you’ll be in good shape”

The hard part is doing it.

I just finished RushFit and it gets better ratings than both P90x and Insanity.

I lost about 15 lbs over 8 weeks and feel amazing.

All it takes are two dumbbells and thats it and its led by UFC Champ Georges St. Pieree and his trainer.

I bought my DD-18 Insanity and she stuck with it. She did it almost 6 days a week. Almost too much. She took the DVD’s with her to college this past week, her first Freshman year, and hopes to AVOID the Freshman Fifteen. Me, I stick with Chalean Extreme. I could only hope to ever do P90X. I’m not sure IF she will want the P90X for Christmas this year OR not.

OMGosh . . . was just on AOL and they had a link to a video called “Release Paul Ryan’s AB’s, We want to seen Paul Ryan’s Abs”. Wow. That was fast.
